This hike is awesome! As you get closer to the top, the trail becomes less clear and pretty craggy. I echo the other reviews — you’ll need to keep the trail map handy because it’s really easy to turn off the wrong way and end up at a dead end. Views are worth it though.

Steep and a little Icey but great views

We went clockwise and I would not recommend that. Especially if you have dogs like we did. The path was not marked and there were tons of trails. We had to check our map multiple times. It was also a rocky scramble. But the trail on the other side was good.

This trail is TRICKY to follow. I had to check my phone often to make sure we were on track. Honestly, at the top of the mountain, I have no idea how you would follow the trail with lout the gps. My daughter was so freaked out by the precarious route at the end. We just took another route that looked like it went back down. Also, if you’re not from Utah, the lack of oxygen will totally get you. It slowed us down immensely!

I did this hike with a baby! It is doable but can be sketchy at times!

Beautifully shaded hike. Hard to follow but loved every step through the rocks and creek. Very steep. Waterproof footwear is a must!

There is a labyrinth of trails on this hike. Many look like it would be the main trail. To keep on track you have to constantly monitor your progress on the phone. If you choose to go up the ridge line in a counter clock-wise direction it a steep climb and a gradual descent. Nice views along the ridge.

Ran out of daylight so I turned around. Will definitely do entire loop soon. Probably hit Mt. Wire as well. Loved it

really not that great of a hike. the trail is semi hard to follow. I took a wrong turn and ended up a mile away from the trail.

Prefect if you’re new to scrambling. Very fun and easy class 3 scramble the second half of the trail. I’m guessing if you did a lot of route finding you could probably find a way to just hike the trail described here but what fun would that be. The end of this portion of the trail is clear. It is marked by a a small pool of water and a flat area. I went a little further and it turns into more technical scrambling. I turned around because it was starting to get dark and I just did this as an after work hike. I would like to one day go all the way up this gulch to Broads Fork Twin Peaks and hike down Broads Fork trail. If you want to go to twins peak via this route there’s a good description on summitpost(.)org.

Nice steep hike on a cloudy day. Lots of inclines with scramble and loose gravel. Bugs at the semi dry riverbed’s. Views of the Salt Lake Valley and Twin Peaks are gorgeous. But when you get to the top it’s pretty much nothing kind of a letdown. The best part was actually the hike itself

Had to turn around for personal reasons. Will try again

What an amazing and breathtaking way to take in and encompass the entire ridgeline from the top of Ferguson Canyon past Storm Mountain all the way up to Twin Peaks! This journey is difficult in that it gains lots of elevation and also requires some route finding / scrambling, but nothing too crazy ... Highly recommended !! Excellent views and awesome way to get to Twin Peaks.

Trail is okay for the first Mile, then it kind of disappears; very rocky, steep, technical probably best in June when the runoff is high. the streams are running pretty small.

Hiked more that 90% of this trail from both the beginning and ending of this trail but not actually been on top of Twin peaks because the last part of the climb was too intimidating for me.
