Fun short hike which is great for all ability levels. Beautiful stream beside the hike the whole way with a waterfall. Went with a baby in a pack, 3 year old and 5 year old. All did great!

Very kid friendly as long you stay to the Mill B trail and don't turn right to the Lake Blanche trail. Multiple pools with calm water to let children explore. 5 year old hiked in and back on her own with no complaints.

I would absolutely recommend this Trail to anyone with a dog but I would not take the route that this app has indicated. I would recommend to start at the Capitol building where there is parking available if you need it but also a great view of the mountains and you can check out the Capitol building. I would then take the route on the east side of the Stream rather than the paved Road on the west. It eventually merges with the paved Road though. The start of the trail goes through a nice park with trees but the paved Road in general is very boring. I expected the view of the capitol to be at the end of the trail but was disappointed to discover it was brush and parking lot.

The reviews saying this was a tough hike are getting this simple path mixed up with the Lake Blanche trail, which forks off about 1/4 mile up this trail. The Mill B South trail is actually a short and quick walk up a paved pathway (wouldn't really even call it a hike). Easy enough that my 18-month-old niece walked most of the way. Kind of busy today, but it is 4th of July weekend.

Busy surrounding park, but interesting walk through gardens I didn't know existed. Connects to Jordan river parkway for biking/walking.

This is a great trail for families with little ones. The kids loved going in the big trees. We saw squirrels and ducks.

Easy stroll along a mellow stream. Lovely in-town escape, with a perfect mix of sun and shade. We encountered a dog-hating Karen, who should've skipped this "off-leash" trail if she didn't want to be instantly befriended by an excited and soggy sheepadoodle. Nevertheless, we will be back to this one.

Went about 3.5 miles up and then back. I was there at 6:20 am and 7 out of the 10 parking spots were already taken. I finally found the single-track trail after a mile on the road and took that the rest of the way; so much more fun than the road! Coming down, you have to walk on the LEFT into walkers coming up, and I played chicken with some rude guy who wouldn’t move. If you can see UPHILL, move out of the way! Bikes come flying down and I don’t want to walk into them! Rude. Lots of trash, mostly people leaving bags of dog poop despite the fact that there are trash cans literally every five minutes. Leaving the parking lot, make sure you turn RIGHT with your car. I wasn’t paying attention and there’s only one sign, but turning left is only for bikes/runners. I didn’t even think, because, hey, I came up that way, it’s a road, let’s go. But don’t worry, multiple bike riders and runners stopped and condescendingly informed me of my error.

Great trail for families with kids. No pets allowed and a small parking lot.

Spent a really lonely morning on this trail. The scenery is beautiful and we saw ducklings and squirrels, groundhogs and birds and caught one glimpse of a moose. This was just the right length and difficulty level for my two-year-old grandson.

A little difficult but definitely worth it in the end. Took the fishing poles and had a ton of bites as well. Everyone on the trails are also very nice.

Little people, calming water the entire way through. The only problem was I ran out of water otherwise I would have been up there all day! Good for people of all ages and sizes.

Great trail! The view at the top is definitely worth it

Nice walk. No steep inclines. It was very crowded though! No snow on the trail today.

Fun! Our recoding was paused some of the way. So that’s why my map is kinda cut off. Some crowds.

Gorgeous yet simple hike. I would highly recommend going early in the morning for wildlife and an empty trail. I started at 6am and saw fish, ducks, ravens, chipmunks, deer, and even a moose. I nearly had the trail to myself too (a couple fisherman and wildlife photographers).

Beautiful, short and scenic walk to a nice waterfall. Wonderful to hear and see the water as you walked along!

Really lovely hike with shade and a stream the whole way that you could easily play in. There were lots of dogs and they can be off the leash once you pass the park area. Once you pass the bridge, it feels a little more like your off trail. Wear shoes with traction, it can be a bit slippery. If you cross the bridge, it’s an easy paved road, which is nice too.

Very crowded, but beautiful

I do this each other day hiking its very peaceful just remember you walking running hiking you need to be on the creek side and bikes need to be on the opposite side going up or going down

Great trail that starts in Memory Grove Park, which offers lots of grassy areas to sit and relax along the river if you’re not ready to walk just yet. Paved path breaks into a mountain trail with rocks and some exposed roots from nearby trees. The trail is fairly level, with some minor drops and climbs. The river continues to babble for the duration of your walk, and you’re afforded numerous opportunities to splash around in the cool river if desired. You’re right on the water. The trail is covered and shaded by many trees, so constant sun is not an issue. Hiking boots not required, but shoes with a sturdy, rigid sole are recommended. Taking the kids next time!

This is one of my favorite trails and also very popular for locals. It doesn't allow dogs up the canyon, on the trail or even in your car but still very enjoyable.

it is nice for a every day walk or running for people living close by, or just to relax with the family. too bad some people don't care about dogs off leashes.
