Park at the Pioneer Hills trailhead. We crossed the highway & walked trail backwards from what’s marked here. Walked back on paved bike trail. Could’ve started a half hour sooner to beat more heat but was a great hike.

The trail is poorly marked, which makes following it accurately a challenge, especially at night. Also, a bit close to civilization for me. I enjoy a trail where sirens and cars driving by cannot be heard. On the plus side, it's quick to get to, and isn't too long. The view isn't half bad either.

It’s nice hike.. I was thinking of riding my
Mountain bike there but couldn’t find a way to get there with my mountain bike. The chuckwalla trail doesn’t allow mountain bikes and I think halfway wash as well.. so idk

Fun trails, great views of St. George. Cool slot canyons to explore.

Fun easy trail. Beautiful green trees against the red rock. Love it!

A little hard to find, but very easy and a cool piece of history.

The Green Valley Gap was a great place to rock climb. There were multiple spots to climb. You can either hike in from the bottom of the gap, or drive right up and over the top of the climb you would like to top rope and repelle down.

Great hike to do with kids. We did the Chuckwalla connecting to Turtle Wall. The kids loved the climbing/bouldering opportunities! Very wide defined trail. Definetely will do again for the "natural playground"!

We started the trail from a pullout just off the the road (Red hills parkway). We parked in a dirt lot and started the trail. This was an easy beginner trail for my husband and I, but a challenging and fun trail for our kids (4,6,9). Our 4 year old got a bit nervous about the ups and downs and rocky terrain. Our other kids loved it! There was a fun section of Cairns along to path to stop and admire and add to. We didn’t finish the loop, but finished at Dixie rock.

Loved the terrain!! Went in January but I imagine it would get pretty busy in high season.

Easy trails that were fun to hike. Started with Chuckwalla TRAIL as a connector. Then hiked Halfway Wash Trail all of the way. Then connected to Paradise Rim Trail, which had great views. From there took Turtle Wall Trail back to Chuckwalla to finish up. Nothing terrifically difficult but a good hike.

Fun trail with the kids. Lots of adventure points - rock climbing, tree climbing, rock scrambling, stick and squash collecting. Lots of hikers and dogs on the trail.

Pretty and peaceful. Great views of the surrounding areas and views of Zion National Park. Saw a few trail runners and a couple other hikers. For the most part we were the only ones on the trail.

Hiked from Green Valley to Bloomington with my dog. This trail is sandy/dusty with a lot more bicycles than hikers. It has small steep hills that are great for bikes but the light sand on hard rock can be very slippery. Also, with a dog, you have to be very vigilant in watching behind for cyclist, they can be coming fast. I would highly recommend this trail for mountain bikes, but for hikers, St George has a lot better to offer.

Loved it. Just enough to be interesting but not give my grandma knees pain. Plus does it get any better than red rock for a background?
