This is a blast. Trail is too strong of a word more like advisory path lots of choices to explore and that’s why this is so fun. Spend your time and explore the slots and rocks. Great views and it’s is basically in downtown St George. Great way to spend an hour or so.

This is a short hike to a great view of Snow Canyon State Park. There is also a white sand ampitheatre that kids love. Choose a good path up and down the white sandstone. No specific path marked in the rocks.

We didn't actually follow this trail but instead pulled up at the park and explored as it's a good size. Neat little place for those who enjoy climbing in, on and around rocks. We tried to squeeze through the Crack that we had read about but even one of my sons who's very thin couldn't quite make it. Still, what a cool spot! Glad we did a quick roadside stop on our way to Snow Canyon.

Quick, easy little walk leading to an overlook on the right side and a little cave on the left. Little ones would enjoy this as you can crawl around in spots.

Perfect for our kids. Nice and short through sand. The canyon itself was probably 20 degrees cooler. A Thursday afternoon in a heat wave gave us the hike all to ourselves, though the 105 degree heat was brutal.

A little rocky and sandy leading up to it. Sand makes the short scramble up the rocks slippery. Easy overall. Beautiful.

Easy, quick hike. Perfect for young kids. They loved the slot canyon!

From the zen trail connector it’s an intermediate trail. (Don’t being beginner wife) Lots of fun on the flowy stuff.

Lots of chunky climbing, lots of walking the Bike. Cool view at the top, but not much reward on this trail. Granted I was on a hardtail, this is a chunky technical trail that I wouldn’t ride again. I would consider myself an intermediate rider.

Bring a BRIGHT flashlight if you want to go deeper in the lave tubes

If you have sensitive eyes I would recommend sun glasses.

Not very far away from town but a quiet trail. My dog and I were the only ones on it today. It was just rolling hills and blooming flowers today.

super kid friendly and easy

I started at the Chuckwala trailhead to Beckhill, then Gila, then switched to Scout Cave trail, then to the beginning of the Johnson Arch trailhead. Then, I turned around and went back but followed Turtle Wall instead of Beckhill on the way back.

The pictures of this trail made it seem like you ended in a tunnel of lava rock that you could walk into, but I think there are more meticulously taken pictures of the tubes. There are a couple of legends lava tubes to see on the trail but then it’s just a very hot, not shaded trek to a road and back. There is a cool rock lookout that merges off of the trail near the top. The start of this trail is also misleading. You have to park in the parking lot right before the trail marker on this map and then walk on another trail to the start of this one.

We really liked this hike! We carried our baby and 2 year old in packs, and it was totally doable and fun!

I took this trail from the Pioneer Hills trailhead, a simple loop was all. There wasn't much in the way of views, although it is pretty isolated. It's kind of a worse Owen's Loop, honestly. The road sounds were plenty, but it was rather relaxing.

Great views of St. George! Trail is scenic along its entire length and is easy to follow.
