Nice view, super easy hike and was pretty empty early on this time of year.

Had to do this trail after seeing it in Lonely Planet’s Epic Hikes of the World. It was as stunning as promised. My only complaint was how busy the trail was .. and that was in January. It has to be ridiculous during peak season.

01 19 19 tried hiking this trailer based on the most reset reviews. absolutely CANT MAKE IT WITHOUT SNOWSHOES. kept sinking to my waste each time I tried to get up. will try again next week with snowshoes.

Really nice hike with spectacular views of the canyon and little niches for meditation. I didn’t finish because I started too late in the day and it was getting dark, but I made it 4.3 miles round trip, so I probably was close. I hiked solo so I wasn’t planning on scrambling with the chain. Definitely would do it again and complete it.

Closed at the trailhead due to rockfall as of 1/19/2019.

This is a dog park—there are dog feces everywhere, dogs are off leash and the trail smells like urine. We were visiting from out of town and we were unfortunate enough to stop here to stretch our legs. There is an electric transformer station in the middle of the park and you can see and hear the highway throughout the trail.

Go early. Its a popular trail & it becomes too trafficked-especially when the park is in full swing

Great hike. I did a Google Earth Trail on Saturday here. You can do a virtual like walk of the trail and into the cave at www.shaunasadventures.com or on Google Earth. We had on spikes/ Crampons and made it to the cave fine. Headed up a little before 9, and there was not too many crowds, but as we headed down there was a huge group heading up. Most people heading up had sleds. I wish I would have asked them where they were heading to sled. I am thinking they were going to take the V shaped trail marked on my blog to the North Fork road and then sled down it. Definitely would have been fun sled ride down.

This was the scariest thing I've ever done. I'm proud of myself for doing it because I'm terrified of heights but I won't ever do it again. We were appalled at the people hiking to the top with small children. Yes, it's beautiful but it's also dangerous. Be safe.

Spike Hiked up on New Year's day. snowshoes are not necessary. packed in Euro sleds to come down. this was a riot. sometimes the trail was too narrow, rocky or steep for the sleds, so we would pick them up and walk a bit. super fun day!

1/11/19 heavy ice on beginning of trailhead. do not attempt without crampons.

1/10/19 quick and easy. slight presence of ice near the waterfall.

1/11/19 Incredible hike and views. Ice is present on the wiggles and from the first set of chains. It is possible to get past first set of chains without clamp one but would not recommend. very easy to slip.

This is a get your picture and leave type of hike. Compared to Corona and Bowtie, it was meh. The arch itself is awesome. The hike up is nothing special. At the top, you’re met with a whole bunch of people with little hiking ettiequte. People perched under the arch making it impossible to get a photo and groups of people talking and yelling.

An all around better option is Corona and Bowtie. The drive there is AWESOME! The hike is so freaking fun and the arch is just as spectacular.

You have to see Delicate arch when you come to Utah, but definitely don’t do this as your only arch hike!

Went up on New Years Eve, it had snowed about an inch the night before and everything was absolutely beautiful. The shuttle was running and we caught the second or third one out at 8:20. There were about 40 people hiking the switchbacks around us, but that number dropped to about 20 when we hit the chains because of the snow.

I would NOT go past the first short stretch of chain without micro spikes. Several portions were extremely slick, and the couple hiking ahead of us without spikes made me nervous. About 90% of people we saw that day had spikes on. Well worth the $20.

Took us almost exactly three hours total, from hopping off the shuttle to getting back to the stop. It was starting to get crowded as we came back down, which would have added a lot more time waiting for the narrow parts to clear up before passing.

GREAT hike! Definitely need cramp-ons to do this safely right now. Absolutely stunning views, and not heavily trafficked at all. 10/10 would recommend.

Wow! (In Owen Wilson’s voice)
This trail was EPIC! Incredible views and 100% worth it! It was considered moderate for us. It took about 1 hour and 15 minutes to hike up and 40 minutes to go back down. It was a little Icy but nothing too crazy. Elevation gain was a little difficult at times, but doable. Definitely a must do! Unbelievable views at the arch!

Just finished this hike. If your looking for a way out of the inversion soup, this is a great little hike to get above it. The trail is hard pack snow, making it a really nice, smooth hike. It’s actually a more comfortable hike than in summer in my opinion. With micro spikes and poles you’ll have zero problems on this trail. Beautiful, sunny warm skies up there above the smog. It’s well worth it!!

Short and easy yet stunning and beautiful. Delicate arch, probably the most famous of all the arches and understandably so.

Steep, but not too difficult. I did not like how exposed the last mile was on the sheer cliff face, but I am afraid of steep cliffs.

A lot better than Angels Landing, because this is less crowded.

Absolutely great views, I would do it again.

This was a fun hike and I would definitely do it again—lots of great look outs and we caught the sunset at the point which was unforgettable. The trail was pretty easy to follow and offered plenty of great views.

It is “only” 1.5 miles each way, but there is a lot of elevation and uneven footing. Right now there is also snow and ice. So I would say it is moderate to difficult. BUT totally worth it. Amazing to see the Arch up close! This is a must-do in the park!

So great for views on a snowy/foggy day! Bring spikes if you’re going to hike it in the winter because the trail is super icy. It’s great for dogs to run around too.

My tip is to treat the trail as an out and back instead of a loop because the second half is basically just a road. When you get to the stream, turn back. Way prettier.

easy hike, good views. Dont try and get a picture by the falls unless you want to walk back with freezing feet. Ha!

Beautiful, easy hike. Cool ice cave. Hiked today (mid-January) with hiking/snow boots and we were just fine.

One of, if not the most spectacular hikes I've ever experienced! Amazing view of the canyon and a thrilling trail that towers above the river below!

Beautiful evening to see the most iconic natural structure in Utah! It was a perfect hike with excellent views. The only downside is all the tourists who actually walk directly under the arch. Had to photoshop quite a few people out of my photos!

this place fuckin sucks dick

The lower emerald pool was beautiful. Easy stroll and gorgeous even in the winter. The path to the middle and upper pools is closed indefinitely due to a rock slide.
