Nice trail up a canyon with a small stream. There are a few small areas where trees have fallen over the path but are easy to step over. Fall colors are out the there is a beautiful view when you get to the overlook. You can make this a loop by continuing up to the Canyon Ski area and return back down the Mid Mountain trail (13 miles) or Climb Murdock peak for extended hikes

More of a walk than a hike. Near the road and goes through some houses. Cool sculptures and access to the water though

My go to running trail when I am in Park City. Beautiful - perfect if wanting a smooth flat running trail. Varied surfaces with asphalt, dirt or wooden bridges. Nice vista’s and cool art sculptures en route. Connects to several trails that are similar and you add on and can get in 13 miles round trip going from Park City to Kimball Junction. Also 3 miles in there is a clean public bathroom at Ranch Road that I always stop at before I continue with run.

We rode along Echo Reservoir into Coalville on June 9, 2018. Most of this trail was not paved, and turned out to be harder than I expected due to that. Probably if it was paved it would have been easier. The views are really nice. Keep in mind that at least this part of the trail is sparsely shaded, so it gets HOT!

I really appreciate rails to trails projects. Riding along the reservoir is cool. I saw some muskrats in the town of Echo. It was rideable on a road bike even on the dirt parts in winter (no snow about a month ago... terrible year for snow)

Did a version of this hike today with my wife and daughter. We did Holly to Mid Mountain and back to Holly for a loop - iPhone showed 15 miles. The Holly trail is unremarkable - mostly a side hill walk with not much shade in an area of low vegetation. Much of this trail is close to roads, lifts, etc.,, The Mid Mountain trail was nice - very different hike in Aspen and Lodgepole Pine forrest. The views from this trail were spectacular. Enjoyed the hike overall. Didn't see that many mountain bikers and the ones we did come across were very polite.

A lot of the trails were for mountain biking and said that we could not continue we went up and back down the far side near the golf course to avoid the section suggested that was mountain biking only. It would have been better if more trails were open as we would have liked to go farther. Also there were lots of trails off the main one and it was some what difficult to find our way. So we missed the turnoff to go further to the top where the super condor express lift goes. But the views were nice and it was a good trail.

The start of the trail is actually on non hiking section as it goes on a mountain bike-only trail, the rest of the trail is great, Holly's crosses all the winter black diamond runs such as Badlands, Black Hole, Super Fury and G-Force. lots of shade. Trail is narrow and is a single track used by bikes too.

Great. Well signed. Watch out for golf balls at the lower section!! Take an extra couple hundred meters and go to the top of Red Pine Lift. Fantastic 360 degree view.

Rode this trail from Promontory to Coalville. It's a gentle 2% downhill grade on former rail tracks. The Trail is between the lanes of I80 so it's plenty loud at times along with truck fumes. As you move further past Wanship, the noise / smells decrease however the trail is starting to get overgrown. There have been a number of horses / cows on the trails so it's now quite bumpy. Overall, the trail is OK but there are plenty of other options that are much nicer in the area.

I could not ask for a better first skiing experience. The crowds were light and the ski instructor was friendly.
The views and restaurants are great but I didn't realize UT is a dry state so bars are scarce. Great place to lay back and enjoy your vacation.

Paved way, pretty easy stuff

Plenty of verticle and what I like is how easy it is to hop off I=80, ski all day and get right back on the interstate to continue your journey after a day of skiing.

This is a great 25 mile bike ride from Park City to the West end of Echo Res. It is a smooth dirt trail with lots of great views.
