I love this trail as it runs by the river. I spent my childhood walking a long it.

This was an easy trail to follow and I love that you can choose to go around the pond or follow the river, definitely a short walk so it would be easy for kids

I hit the trail early in the morning (0630) the wind was blowing pretty well coming from the east like it does most days. It is paved all the way and is marked for the most part. I got off trail one time because I missed the sign for the trail (the orange arrows on the ground) they don’t say they are for the trail but they are. There are more arrows with different colors for other trails. I read in the reviews there were a lot of homeless around. I only saw 2 or 3 and they were closer to the Washington st. There are a lot of places to stop and enjoy the river and cool off. Over all the trail is a nice ride if you want to get the family out and riding.

This drive had a ton to offer. Beautiful lakes and reservoirs, an easy to access waterfall and just gorgeous mountain scenery all throughout the drive.

We drove this at night, which really does defeat the purpose. Driving this road the first time at night is a bit intimidating if you're not used to windy roads. There was also road construction in a few parts which made the shoulder very narrow. There are other parts of the stretch that naturally have a very low shoulder and signs mentioned not to walk or bike on the side. Hope we can go back again in the daytime!

If you had toddlers this would be amazing for them to buzz around. For more experienced hiker.... um skip it.

I wish Ogden city or West Haven city would regulate this area better. The garbage and homeless camps are getting out of control. Don't get me wrong, there is beauty to be found, but I would recommend doing it by bike in a quick ride. My favorite part is seeing where the Ogden and Weber Rivers combine. Lots of history signs on this trail too.

It is very beautiful, but you can tell a lot of people use this trail as their home.

Horrible trail. Tons of trash and this creepy feeling like people are watching you. Saw someone who just finished bathing in the river. You can tell a lot of people live in the foliage.

Really pretty scenic paved path along the Ogden river that runs all the way through the city. Some parts are nice near riverdale but other parts near north ogden can be kinda sketchy with druggie folks in underpasses

Great place to walk, run, or bike. Beautiful trail along the Ogden River.

I went to this trail around 6:30 on a Saturday. I was the first one there. They have a bathroom available, but if you have a fear of spiders I don't suggest it. If you do dare to use the facility don't look up, and don't look around. The trail starts off paved but then goes into a dirt path. It's very peaceful. My favorite part was looking for frogs and watching the ducks play in the water. You cannot swim but you can take a tube out into the water. Fishing is allowed but if you are over the age of twelve you must have a fishing license. There is also a limit to how many fish you can take.

Good place to take the kids fishing but there's a lot of trash and it's hard to find a free spot to set up.

I love the Ogden River Parkway, it's a place to get outside without having to drive to the mountains. I ride my bike, run, and rollerblade it every summer. The downside is the stretch from Rainbow Garden to about Washington Blvd are ridiculously crowded in the evenings. It's nice to see people out enjoying it but no one stays to the right to let other pass, dogs on leashes on one side with the owner on the other...when you're biking or rollerblading this gets annoying real fast. I wish people were a little more aware of their surroundings. My solution to this problem has been to start at the pond behind Walmart and go West along the trail from there. You won't run into many people and if you do they are generally people riding bikes, or homeless and I've never had a problem with either. The real problem right now is the high water covering the trail at nearly every underpass and for rollerblading, where the water has receded off the trail, there are big stretched of dirt and debris that knock you off balance. Still it's one of my favorite places to burn off some energy after work.

This was a great trail for me and my young kids. Very clean and well kept for the most part. I like that you get to walk near dinosaurs and through the botanical gardens. The path also goes by a playground and picnic areas with restrooms. The restrooms near the botanical gardens were open on Easter, but I'd recommend bringing your own TP.

Very easy trail around a small pond. To get more distance, hike out by the hospital. This would be a great beginning trail for kids. Good for dogs, too.

Very easy trail around a pond in Ogden. Hardly any elevation at all. Saw two homeless people, but they didn't pay any attention to me. Great for dogs… Especially if your dogs like ducks!
