trail running

Paved trail that is easily accessed for a quick walk, run, or bike ride. This loop links with the Weber Parkway trail system providing miles of outdoor access.

Started out in Riverdale . Nice long trail. Easy. Great for the kids to take a break at the river . Love it. It’s a favorite .

My husband and I completed this trail on July 7.

This trail is conveniently located, and easy to follow. Since it's paved, it's wheelchair friendly, but there is a steep descent at the beginning, so you'd need to be careful. We didn't see any spectacular wildlife, but it was a decent walk nonetheless. And afterwards, we ran through the splash pad that was right next to the parking lot.

Would recommend this hike for anyone looking for something easy and close by.

Great trail for families and for a quick jog. It is all asphalt and has restrooms, a park, and a splash pad. It also has a beautiful view of the mountains.

road biking

I looked up the trail for road biking. The TH start is all gravel and dirt for about a mile then it hits pavement. So if you only have a street bike don’t start here. Other than that he trail was a nice. I got on about 0800 and there were some runners and bikers but not enough to bog the trail.

This was an easy trail to follow and I love that you can choose to go around the pond or follow the river, definitely a short walk so it would be easy for kids

This walk is set amongst the mountains and surrounded by beautiful fields and lots of birds. Perfect little walk with the kiddos. The avocado sewer cover was very funny too =)

Nice paved path with pretty wildflowers.

A perfect short walk if you are in Ogden. Lots of drifters around though.

Good easy trail for my new puppy. Main trail is paved, there are some branches of the trail that are dirt however not difficult at all. Seems busy most of the time.

Nice and easy and does loop around. Lot of trees and shade.

It was an easy trail and well kept even during the winter months. Just needs to have access to drinking water but understandable that it was winter time.

Our favorite place to escape. The kids love it

Nice easy trail to walk the dog.

I wish Ogden city or West Haven city would regulate this area better. The garbage and homeless camps are getting out of control. Don't get me wrong, there is beauty to be found, but I would recommend doing it by bike in a quick ride. My favorite part is seeing where the Ogden and Weber Rivers combine. Lots of history signs on this trail too.

It is very beautiful, but you can tell a lot of people use this trail as their home.

Horrible trail. Tons of trash and this creepy feeling like people are watching you. Saw someone who just finished bathing in the river. You can tell a lot of people live in the foliage.

Lots of trees and shade. There were some picnic areas where you can have a BBQ. Trails lead off into the trees where you could experience an off road experience that was very peaceful. There were also some huge fish. There is also a really nice playground for the kids.

I live nearby so I love taking my dogs on this trail. It's cool, simple, and paved so many of my neighbors use it for daily jogging and burning out the kids. Not worth traveling for unless you just want to walk/jog somewhere different. Not much shade mid day so do this one in the morning or evening.

Fun, quick trail around a pretty pond.

Decent little .8 mile loop. We walked it twice. Not mich shade, or a lake, so it was a bit confusing for us looking at the trail map. Lots of birds (especially quail), butterflies and even a couple of rabbits seen. Not much to look at, but a nice evening or early morning walk.

short walk and nice views. too much litter.

I love this loop if I'm nearby, but it's not worth a special trip for. You can bike, run, walk, bring kids, bring dogs, etc. There's a light climb either way to get a little burn going. It can get crowded.

Easy stroll, lots of homeless people and teenagers in the foliage.

Very easy trail around a pond in Ogden. Hardly any elevation at all. Saw two homeless people, but they didn't pay any attention to me. Great for dogs… Especially if your dogs like ducks!

easy, flat family friendly

Beautiful trail! We went around a couple times, we saw a deer and there is a small water outlet that appears to look like a small waterfall hidden in the trees.
