Best arch we saw during our trip! Fun hike as well.

Stunning views from all sides when you get to the arch. I have a bum knee and was still completely fine on this hike. Took us a little less than two hours round trip with a 30-40 min stop at the arch.

Absolutely gorgeous for sunrise.

We walked this trail today (sat, 21/7/2018) This trail is def not closed. However that historic side can’t be accessed due to earlier vandalism. However the viewpoint is still accessible and you can stand a few meters from the historic site.

And it’s all worthwhile, amazing trail/walk!

so worth it!

Nice little hike. Bizarre, beautiful scenery in the dome and pretty good views of the canyons on the other sides.

All the other reviewers pretty much covered it - a must for everyone because it's an easy hike with awesome views.

I'm usually one of those people who knocks a trail for having big crowds, but this is one time where the crowd was part of the fun. We went at sunset in late June, and it was a busy place. Spectacular view of the arch with the mountains in the background and funny people watching at the top.

Hike itself is pretty cool, nothing spectacular, but some nice views and a pretty easy trip. Take a quick detour at the bottom to visit some petroglyphs, but make sure to leave no trace!

Absolutely amazing! We went to the view point to view the arch from a distance during the day, and came back to our camp to nap, before driving back for the park to do the actual hike as the sun was setting, because my Mom couldn’t tolerate the heat of the day.
We both agree that it was absolutely worth it! The hike to the arch at sunset, the energy at the site at twilight and the hike back with flashlights was a hike I’ll never forget.

This trail is a fairly easy trail with one steep portion as you navigate your way up the sandstone. I went early in the morning (7am) and it took me approximately 1.5 hours. The crowds weren’t bad that early but by the time I was leaving there was getting to be a lot of people. This time of year (July 16) I recommend going in the early morning to beat the heat. When I left at about 9am the temperature was already 96. Bring your sunscreen and water. The arch is incredible and worth the hike!

Wow! Great trail, short and shady so perfect for the summer months. Don't miss this scenic little hike! Great for kids, too!

Water is too shallow to cliff jump.

Great hike and very easy and accessible for all ages.

Easy and short hike with an incredible view!

Hiked this three days ago and loved it. We hiked it in the evening and was saved by the clouds. My 14,12, and 9 year old kids really enjoyed it. Bring lots of water and try to hike it early or later in the evening if you have kids. The view at the top is worth it!

I visited a few years ago. It's a fun climb to the tracks, and to the rock art a little higher up. Also, we found more dinosaur tracks on a stone slab to the left of the rock art. I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere else. Enjoy!

This trail is great with lots of many loops and has shade. Great climbing points as well. Great hike for little kids since it’s very short.

This trail is beautiful throughout. I do recommend not going in the middle of the day though (if you’re doing the hike in the summer) because it can get very crowded and hot. Recommend bringing 1 quart of water per person at least.

Short easy hike to Mesa Arch. It is one of the best views i have ever seen.

Relatively easy hike. When you get to the bridge and short of water you can refill your bottle with the water seeping through the rock. Several spots to cool off if you choose to dip into the stream. I did.

Did this trail counter clockwise in three days in mid July. It was expectedly hot 100-120 degrees with almost no shade. We stayed at potato bottom A the first night. This is a beautiful spot on the river (a lot of mosquitos). Then took our time down to Murphy A. This is a must! By far the coolest campsite I have ever stayed at. (Make sure to stay at A not B or C) then went to airport A. This is a rather plain site. No shade or shelter. Beautiful view of airport tower though. We then went down Lathrope to the river and spent the day there. Overall and incredible trail. Pretty easy, some difficult spots. We then drove to Moab down the potash trail, worth it. I would recommend some off-road tires and to air down, at least in the sandy spots if you want to slow down. We did it in a 2017 Tacoma with a 2 inch lift and wrangler duratrac tires.

This is an easy walk along a dirt path. 4 stars only because I'm not a fan of how they let people climb all over under the arches. I think it should be roped off. We saw so many people up on the rocks, it was impossible to get a photo without them in it. Very cool set of arches though, and will be back some day when there's less people.

Took this short walk while on our drive thru the park roads. Pretty neat to see this huge boulder perched like it is. Easy walk.

I didn't walk out this whole trail. I went down a ways to get a view towards the east, but that was it. The Green River overlook is better than this one I think. You can't even see the Colorado river from here?? Was not impressed.

Short and sweet!

Trail is at the same trail head as Sylvester...at the end of an old ranch road that dead ends. Beautiful and worth every minute!

Double Arch is one of my favorite arches for sure, the walk is super easy but usually pretty busy. A hike for everyone.
