So amazing and worth it, however took the 43 mile loop as posted at the trailhead. Took probably close to 2 hrs because I couldn’t help but stop for pictures every quarter mile

We took the trail going through the Hurrah pass trailing the very edge of the clifs and it was wonderful. the top has breathtaking views and the trail isn't too difficult to the top. Going down on the other side to get to the Chicken Trail is a tad bit more difficult but still not too bad.

Thelma and Louise was filmed here!

A Moab must!

Did it November 2016 in an '04 4runner. Completely stock except for the 2" lift and Icon suspension. 2nd trail I had ever done. Terrifying! So many chances to roll and destroy your rig and yourself. I did celebratory donuts when we made it out in one piece. I learned a lot that day.

Did the trail from Potash to Canyonland today, 7-25-18, and it was amazing. We drove a stock JK and had no problems at all. Be ready for the last few miles straight up a 1000 foot wall of rock before you get to the main road in Canyonland.

Took the road less traveled for sure. Need 4 wheel drive and patience. Bring water and hopefully you have a/c. Temps reached 103 mid ride.

WOW! We timed it for sunrise. Great road, a few tricky parts (in a Subaru anyway) but overall a great drive. Some of the most amazing sights I've seen in my life. I'm definitely returning to Moab to see what it has to offer :)

Did this trail counter clockwise in three days in mid July. It was expectedly hot 100-120 degrees with almost no shade. We stayed at potato bottom A the first night. This is a beautiful spot on the river (a lot of mosquitos). Then took our time down to Murphy A. This is a must! By far the coolest campsite I have ever stayed at. (Make sure to stay at A not B or C) then went to airport A. This is a rather plain site. No shade or shelter. Beautiful view of airport tower though. We then went down Lathrope to the river and spent the day there. Overall and incredible trail. Pretty easy, some difficult spots. We then drove to Moab down the potash trail, worth it. I would recommend some off-road tires and to air down, at least in the sandy spots if you want to slow down. We did it in a 2017 Tacoma with a 2 inch lift and wrangler duratrac tires.

Went with several Jeeps at night!

A bit terrifying for a noob like me.

7/5/2018. Amazing drive. Started at top of Shafer trail to Potash Rd. Some spots after decent into canyon were rocky, sandy and or steep. Conditions were very dry. Took about 1.5-2hrs. Did trail in a stock GX460 with g**dyear duratracs.

Note on trail rating/descriptions. There appears to be two for this area. One says easy and other medium and they blend together in reviews.

Me my daughter and a couple friends did this trail, it is a decently long one but was a good time. Nothing too bad as far as obstacles go but the scenery was outstanding.

Used this as part of a loop trip. Gemini Bridges, to 313, then Shafer Trail to Potash and back to Moab. I did take the Bull Canyon run to the bottom of the arches (worth it, you need 4wd for that tail). First part of the main trail is much more interesting, that the second half. After the bridges it becomes a bumpy ride then gravel road to 313.

Drove this in my bone stock 1996 Jeep Cherokee. Treated this as a spur trip to the bottom of Gemini Bridges. Nice trip, I did engage 4hi a couple of times to get up a sandy hill, and a couple of low steps. Not a car doable trail. The arches are a short hike and I would say definitely look cooler from the bottom than the top. The trail does continue, but the arch was as far as I had planned for the day.

Nice little jaunt. Relaxing, ran it in my bone stock 1996 Jeep Cherokee. Looped Moab to Gemini Bridges to 313 to the trail head and back to Moab.
Used 4low so i could just idle down the hill. That was the only time I engaged the 4wd system. Lots of photo ops. Could a car do it? I would not have taken my Corolla on that road. Up and down the hill, yes but not the rest of the trail, there are a few spots that having 9" of ground clearance came in handy.

This is a perfect road for anyone who has a stock 4X4. Whether you drive up or down it is a fun easy drive. A great way to get experience without stressing out. Take you time and enjoy the road.

Took the Jeep from canyon lands Shafer trail entrance down potash rd to Moab. It was an amazing drive! Must have 4x4 and some ground clearance to get through a couple spots.

For MTBers, it's a moderate ride if you don't plan on getting very far off the access road. If you plan to try to go deeper in on the trail be ready for sand, sand, and more sand. We started the loop counter clockwise and enjoyed the climb and views but once it flattened out we encountered a quarter mile stretch of deep fine sand. We should have turned back but one said it can't get much worse...i feel like I pushed more than road until we got back to the road for a rather gravelly ride back to the car. Unlike most rides out here, nobody said they'd do any part of that ride again. NOT A WORTHWHILE MTB TRAIL. (yes that ended with a period)

Drove from MOAB to the NP with a 4x2 Nissan Rouge.
No problem if you drive with care and slow down were there are rocks to cross.
