Our kids were little at the time and it was a great trail for them. Next time we will definitely explore more places!

Next time I’d summit mount tuk first and traverse across to mount Peale.

Took the Jeep from canyon lands Shafer trail entrance down potash rd to Moab. It was an amazing drive! Must have 4x4 and some ground clearance to get through a couple spots.

Amazing at sunset. Took 35 mins up (we maintained a pretty constant pace). Could be tricky to see trail when walking up the sandstone but you can easily follow the crowds. It’s popular for a reason - don’t be deterred by the number of people!

cool view for minimal effort!

The hardest part was the first .3 mile from the trailhead, then it got fun. The views were great with places to park your bike and walk to the overlook. The trails were clearly marked with maps at the crossroads.

Another extremely easy walk but wonderful views of the arches and surrounding area. Quite crowded and hard to find a parking spot at the trailhead

Not sure if you can constitute this as a hike. Pull over in the parking area and walk down a sidewalk to get close to the balancing rock. Fed a must see in the park

Just a word of caution, we did not get to hike the trail. The map given at the visitor's center shows a "4WD" road that heads SW from Salt valley road. You'll pass it if you take the conventional way to the trailhead. We thought we could use this road and get a shorter hike from the SW side. We had a 4WD and we ended up stuck on rocks for over an hour. I do not recommend this direction unless you have a high clearance 4WD vehicle.

A great short hike just outside of Moab, UT. Appropriate for children and dogs as well.

Great family hike. Our 5year old and 11year Old both loved this.

Gorgeous !! Be sure to stop at Frame arch before delicate arch

Super easy walk to the arch. It was pretty busy but absolutely beautiful!

We hiked this with my family yesterday. It’s a beautiful hike. It’s not difficult if you’re fit. My parents were slower but it wasn’t terribly difficult. The view was beautiful and well worth the small, short climb.

Nice easy hike, took less than 2 hours. You do have to pay $5 to get in the park.

This trail has a little bit of everything. Nice climb up the rocks out of the gate, then a descent into the valley only to climb out on the far side on thick sand. At the top of the sand you have a great view of the Marching Men. Then up more sand & into a bunch of fins only to look up & there's the arch. Great hike, even if it was pushing 100°. Very little shade, take more water than you think you'll need

Crazy wild ride!! Not a big heights fan. Loved the climb and scramble. A little nervous twice, but we made it and it was awesome!!

Oh my, what a hike. The stairs are killer! Enjoyed it very much, but be prepared for a somewhat long uphill hike back!

Wow - it does say some scrambling on the description. Sadly I don’t do well with heights and it was crazy windy today. We did the majority of the high, I just couldn’t do the last bit. Views were great.

It was great, very heavily trafficked. Loved the view thru the arch!! Easy to walk!!

Amazing views from above. Sad story about Dead Horse and how the history started. Enjoyed this quick leg stretch on our way to Moab.

Nice canyonlands. Lovely terrain. Great views.

Awesome hike with breathtaking canyon views! We've hiked in Zion, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon, and Arches, and this hike tops them all. The final scramble up loose rocks is challenging but worth it. We relaxed in the alcove and took in the views.

Great trail and scenery. Our favorite trail in Moab.

Great hike! Two tricky parts for our toddler and dog but it was worth the beautiful views
