Just finished 3 day backpacking trip, starting on the Kane end and exiting through Bullett. Backpacked with a group of 9. Youngest two 10&11 year old boys. A little too advanced for that age. Water was scarce. Be sure to read the updated water post before embarking. No water at the ranger station to top off with. Ranger station was closed when we were there so perhaps there is water inside, but unsure. We did 4.5 miles Monday, 9+ miles Tuesday, and 9+ Wednesday to exit. Was a pretty fast pace for our group, but had time to check our most major ruins along the way. Amazingly beautiful this time of year( Late May). Trail winds a lot, hard to find at times. Would not wear shorts unless you want cut up legs. The Creek was dry the entire time so wet feet not an issue. However if running high you do have several crossings where you will get wet/muddy.

Trail can be a little difficult to find at times but not too difficult. Really beautiful views of the canyons. Access to the trailhead is pretty rough but did it in my Chevy Equinox no problem.

cool hike to some ruins. well worth it

very cool place and well preserved ruins

This isn’t really a hike; the petroglyphs are right off the road. There were tons of them and it is a really neat sight! I’m not sure why there are negative reviews. This is worth your time if you are passing through or near Bluff, Utah, and our kids loved it as well.

Trail starts with a gentle decent to where the slick rock canyon with the Wolfman Panel. The trail isn't too difficult to follow to the remarkable Wolfman Panel. You can see why is received the name. Decided to continue on the loop but the "Route" in the app much have been washed out after the recording because it was impossible to follow for a short section. There were quite of few other social trail to distract you from the "Original' Route.

I was very surprised at the number of Petroglyphs here. It was impressive.

Great way to introduce those not able or not use to long, strenuous hikes to see amazing ruins. This is almost “Disney-like”. It’s a well-shaded trail, lots of canyon and color and the ruins are in excellent condition. Do it, do it now!

Stunning scenery! This is not a developed trail. Follow the recording best you can all the way to the right as you approach and you’ll find you can climb up onto a ridge and the follow it to the backside of the sailors. A lot of very sandy sections - so wear the right shoes for rock and sand.

This hike is not about the trail, you walk down a dirt road. It's about the beautiful views and scenery. Great views of the valley and most of the named rock structures. You also can see Monument Valley.

Great hike. Amazing views and scenery. Amazing ruins. I followed the All Trails track. I parked right off Cigarette Spring Rd. The first 7/10th of a mile is on a (high center) dirt road. The trail is a well worn trail that is also marked by rock cairns. be careful, there are several other well worn trails, also marked by rock cairns, that go more directly vice this trail that follows the rim. Where the trail splits you down climb, head left, then down again, follow the rock cairns.

Great hike. No trail. I used All Trails route and added some exploring. Beautiful views and scenery. CAUTION. I came across a rattle snake sunning himself up on the mesa.

Great hike, beautiful little canyon, spectacular views, amazing ruins. The trail is in good shape and easy to follow. There were a couple diverging paths, All trail worked great. I went left at the fork onto a nice ledge first. Then enjoyed the other side and the pool

Great short hike. Amazing petroglyphs. The road 8s just before the febce/cattle guard/ BLM check in point. Turn left and drive a couple hundred yards. Plenty of parking. Follow the old road to the cliff edge. Ruins on the other side of the canyon. Turn left and follow the cliff edge. Trail descends towards a large overhang area. Petroglyphs are on the other side.

Wonderful short easy hike with amazing history. There are no markings. The trail is well worn, overgrown in places and intersects with other worn paths. All Trails worked great for navigation

Awesome trail, about 35-40 minutes to get up to the caves. Trail was iced over in spots (late January). A nice short day hike if you’re passing through!

it was a wet foggy day...Had the trail and arch to ourselves.

Fun little climb/hike. Good boulders for free climbing with little danger.

Short trail. Nothing great unless you plan to be there during sunset.

This is a track one way coming back just from the spot where you see the ruin! Love that people have left artifacts for others to see! Loved the wood thatched roof still present!

Don’t let the outside fool you. 11:29 AM and it was beautiful crossing under the arch. No one around. I followed previous recordings. Path going down could use some tlc. I’ve seen several arches and tho this is not the tallest or a long destination to get to. Goulding’s Arch has its own charm. I enjoyed it. Super short walk to.
