Great little trail. We traveled on ATV and passed Friendship and Spring campgrounds. We saw the waterfall. I imagine it is a lot better in the spring when there is more water, but still a pretty view. We continued on past the waterfall for several more miles. Eventually it started getting very rocky. At one point, we turned around because it just got way to gnarly for us. The whole trail was moderate until that point. According to my app, from the parking lot to when we turned around was about 10 miles (20 round trip).

Shady, paved, easy walk with nice views of the river and golf course.

This is very similar to Bloomington Lake, but the road is paved all the way up to the lake. The drive is gorgeous. There were many, including us, taking our kayaks into the water, and many fishermen. It was very quiet and serene. The air is so fresh and crisp with smells of foliage. The Cliffs next to the mountain lake is gorgeous. We went in July and the wildflowers are all in bloom of a rainbow of colors, all around the lake. On one end we found a large, gorgeous beaver dam with a beaver residing in it and coming out late in the day. There was a young male moose near there at the edge of the water. Many people were swimming, the water is very full of plant life and fish and bugs on the water, we did not desire to swim, but wade and kayak and take a quiet break just looking. On the opposite end is a thick wooded forest with tall evergreens perfect for hiding from the heat of the day and putting up hammocks to take a nap and read. Beyond there is a beautiful campground. It is worth going and enjoying for all ages. There is a path around the lake. On one side it is well worn and cleared that a stroller or wheelchair can even make it around to the forested end. This is a a gorgeous hidden away spot we fell in love with.

Great family friendly trail! Our 5yo loves it. I would rate it at moderate on some parts as clamoring over roxks is required.

this hike was absolutely beautiful around the lake. Although the snow is still heavy there was a lot of places where it was a little difficult to Traverse, mostly because I didn't have the right shoes on but still very doable. It was a gorgeous day and definitely worth the trip!

So beautiful! Super easy it does get busy in the summer.

boring and from spring through summer there is swarms of nats and wasps.

beautiful but easy and short.
A great place for picnics and just relaxing days by the lake. Not exactly a hiker's trail.

Perfect family balance

First hike in the Logan area, nice and easy one to start off with. Includes lots of great views and we even enjoyed a little picnic on the rocks next to the tranquil river. The view at the top is very beautiful 360 degrees around.

Fantastic hike. Lots to see and explore. The loop is more moderate than easy especially in October as it was quite wet and muddy.

Can’t wait to see it in spring!!!!!

Our rating for the loop easy except for the muddy areas.

Great little walk along the Logan river. Watch for dog poop seems not many clean up after their pets. Easy but beautiful walk with a few points of access to do some fishing. Overall a great afternoon of hiking and fishing...

View of the lake is great, easy trail

Easy short hike around the lake - wooden pathways are breaking down a bit - be careful.

By the way, the directions on my gps led me to a road just short of the lake. It's a dirt road and it took us a while to realize we were off track. Follow the paved road all the way up. You will see it!

We took our 2 year old and loved it. It was perfect.

Nice and easy. Well marked and maintained.

Beautiful short hike! The wildflowers were stunning! I will definitely do this one again, but bring my camera instead of a crappy phone camera.

Great running trail

Been here several times, it's a beautiful drive up and a simple little walk around. I've climbed up into the rocks lining the trail before, super simple and fun. My favorite was on 10.5.15 though because it had just lightly drizzled, no one else was there, and it was just the most serene experience.

In and out through the trees, a few puddles to splash through. It's an easy drive except for the mosquitos.

Some really cool tree covered areas! Also some really dull open plains with nothing to look at. All in all was still a fun trail

trail running

This is a great trail for walking, running, and biking. It is probably one of the most popular hikes near Logan. The switchbacks (a couple hundred yards up canyon) provide some nice variety and moderately gains in elevation. Bridger Lookout can be accessed by Bridger Campground which takes you up higher on the mountain and will spit you back down at Spring Hollow Campground. The map shown cuts the trail short, ending at a campground area below third dam. If you walk the road up canyon it will turn back to trail taking you to Spring Hollow Campground. From there the trail continues on the East side of the campground which will take you to the Guinavah-Malibu Campground.

this is great for kids. the only issue I had was one part of the trail was washed out the last three times I went. this made for a mucky mess and a guess of navigation.

Pretty walk. Nothing difficult.

We were visiting Utah for a pickleball tournament and the Logan River trails were recommended as a great place to find some hiking ventures. This trail did not disappoint! It is a total of a little over 6.5 miles if you take the lookout turn off (can't remember the name of it). Such beautiful scenery and you really are hiking on the side of a mountain! The trail is fairly easy as far as navigation and ruggedness. Most of the trail is well marked and maintained until you hit the "less kept" portion about 1/2 way in. This is more of a typical hiking trail with rocks, uphill climbs, narrower path, etc. I cannot emphasize enough the beauty of this hike! Until the veer into the mountain, you are walking right beside of the river. So serene and relaxing. Would be a great place to stop and have a picnic or read a book by the flowing river. Definitely recommend if you are in the area!
