Amazing downhill trail - get a ride to the top with one of several companies, trail starts out with a very steep climb (I had to walk at times) followed by a long downhill that goes through meadows, forests and canyons - not for the faint of heart, bring lots of water and snacks. Incredible views but can get technical in parts along the Canyon, limited shade towards the end - one of the best trails around

One of my new favorite moderate 4x4 areas near Moab! Many offshoots with harder sections and obstacles, only had to use 4lo once. Fun and chill but can you can add the harder loops for more challenges. Great view at the top looking down on Kane Creek Canyon. Dispersed camping the first few miles of the trail. Please pack out your trash and stay on trail. Completed on 5/13/20 in a GX 470 with 33” tires and 3” lift.

Couldn't start all the way up. Dropped at the Kokopeli (sp?) trail pull off? Definitely worth riding. Speed is the difference between better and newer riders here. Speed will definitely reward you, slow will potentially save you? I rode a long travel (SB 150) and it ate everything on this trail, but the climbing wasn't exactly the easiest. Lovely time.

We made this drive three times, twice in an Arctic Cat Wildcat and once in a Hummer H2. The road is well maintained and was easily completed in these vehicles. We made this journey in July when the weather was hot in Moab (103 degrees Fahrenheit). This was a great way to cool off, although during that same day, it snowed on us in the La Sal Mountains. What a blast this trip was!

Geyser Pass is accesed via the La Sal Loop Road, about 12 miles from Moab. We have Jeeped the pass either as a stop when we climbed Mt Mellenthin, or when Jeeping a loop onto Dark Canyon Trail to La Sal Pass Trail back to town. The trip to Geyser Pass is easy, except once it was still blocked by snow in early June on one of our many trips to Moab.
