Zion is one of my favorite places in Utah but sometimes when visiting St George you need to do something different. Snow canyon is maybe a one day, once only thing but there is some fun hikes. We took our girls to this arch right as the sun was coming down and had beautiful red colors going in, and a nice cool shadow to enjoy the last part of the hike. Not a hike to write home about but a nice walk with the kids.

The Trail is closed till September unless you have a guide.

great little in and out Trail especially for families with smaller children. Relatively flat and well-marked Trail. short and sweet but not much shade

It was Really easy going out to the cave but the trail was harder to follow back. We ended up having to bushwhack in order to get back to the trail.

Moderate hike. Lots of sand & climbing over rocks. Get there early before sun comes out.

on Anasazi Trail

Easy hike. It's fun looking for the petroglyphs, most are well hidden. The views are beautiful, it's a very peaceful place. Hike early as there isn't any shade.

Nice morning hike. The trail is not easy. Also, the trail is not very well mark in some areas.

Seriously so beautiful. I went off trail a little bit and found a small oasis; it was beyond breathtaking.

Trail is sand and rock/boulder wash. Several places of shade to drink and take a break. The view of the mountains is beautiful. Leave early am in hot weather. Lizards, rabbits, birds, egg shells and flowering trees and plants right now. We took about 2 1/2 hours round trip, leasurely pace.

Closed for summer 2018. We didn’t get to do it.

This was a fun quick trail. Half of the trail was in a river bottom with deep sand which isn’t ideal. The elevation changes throughout the hike made it fun and different. Wouldn’t suggest this trail for trail running.

This was a nice hike! Beautiful views all throughout. Will be doing it again!

1st hike of our 14 days of hiking, very nice an easy!

We followed the lead of the previous reviewer and traveled in a clockwise fashion. This worked out well for us. Great hike today. Variety of terrain and sights to see. Really enjoyed climbing up and over the petrified dunes and exploring the lava tube. Beautiful scenery.

as has been said it is poorly marked on the trail and on this app as well, if you stop where the trail as marked on the app is you wouldn't reach the canyon walls. gotta keep walking

Amazing but it’s probably closed by now we found two owls nest in

Was a very challenging hike, but once you reach the top the view is breathtaking.

We did most of this route, it offers a diverse landscape of canyons, sands, and caves! Maybe start with Petrified Dunes (go clockwise) so you get the most strenuous climb out of the way and then you can end with the lava tubes which are cool (both literally and qualitatively). Make sure you bring a flashlight for the tubes.

A fun trail all in all!

Varied terrain, Beutiful views, great payoff at the turnaround point!

This is a great hike for beginning to intermediate hikers. Though rated "easy" the stairs and climb at the end up to the cave is a steep slog. So be prepared with plenty of water. The walk through the cottonwoods is beautiful. The lava rock formations along the way make for some great scenery. It's a full 2 miles to the cave and 2 miles back, though the app lists it a little shorter.

Great hike! A couple of challenging areas but worth the view!

Love it and the petroglyphs

WARNING: Watch out for the idiots shooting guns out here. When you call the police to alert them, they sometimes don’t even care they are shooting alongside the trail. They only care if they’re on the trail shooting. I gave it 3 stars because I love the rich history and the mountain bike trail, but I don’t like idiots with guns shooting near hikers. My favorite color is not hunter orange and I feel you need to wear it so you can avoid being shot!

This trail starts in Santa Clara and has beautiful canyon views then connects with the Anasazi Trail if one does the whole loop. Moderate difficulty and a favorite for mountain bikers.

The cave is awesome! Kids loved seeing lizards and birds.

Beautiful trail! Mostly walking through wash and rocks. can get tricky in some areas, but fairly smooth going. went with my daughter and she enjoyed climbing while I was fine reading on a rock and watching... so definitely something for all skill levels.

Loved it! Easy and peaceful with beautiful views.

Nice fun hike. There’s some pretty views along the way and the cave is beautiful. It’s good night hike because the view of the city lights is stunning. Good trail run!
