Fairly easy, well- marked trail with some nice rock formations along the way. You have to go through a gate near the beginning, and the gate has an orange blaze (which doesn’t make sense because the rest of the trail is marked in blue) so be sure to look for it. The view of the gorge is definitely worth the trek.

Fun trail with great views!

Great ride, even with 7 yr old daughter learning to bike on trails. Nice and level for the most part and the view at the end is breathtaking. Must ride if your on the area.

Gorgeous lookout point at the end.

Great short trail. Especially in the spring - lots of wildflowers !

While I haven't finished all of this trail, I have done the Eastern section that most people forget about. From East Park Reservoir to a little beyone Leidy Peak, there is not a lot of water to be had directly along the trail. I was able to find a trickle (almost a small stream) through Manila Park, and Summit Park was pretty soggy, but that was it. For that reason, I would recommend a couple 1 liter water bottles and a 2 or 3 liter bladder to get through this section. As far as the scenery, it was beautiful! Thick forest, wide open parks, amazing views with Flaming Gorge in the distance. The trail can be hard to follow in a few areas partially due to dirt roads that interweave the area and lack of foot traffic (which is actually nice if you prefer solitude). Bringing a good map and a gps track of the trail, as well as keeping a close eye out for cairns, blazes, and other trial markers will help. I'm giving this section of trail 4 stars instead of 5 due simply to the lack of water along the trail and route finding difficulties. I'm hoping to do the whole trail this fall and will post another review at that time if I do.

I would rate this as an easy hike, not moderate. Nice flat walk to a beautiful overlook of Flaming Gorge.

A awesome place to raft with the family. Had a blast on the River. This is such a fun area. I think The marker for this needs to be adjusted a bit closer to the Green River Area. Here are the coordinates to the look out above the River N 40° 54.694 W 109° 25.138.

I went canoeing down the Green River as a teenager. It was a pretty fun trip.

John Jarvie operated a trading post and a ferry here on the banks of the Green River. The area was known as Brown's Hole, and later as Brown's Park. Because is was very close to three states, outlaws were known to frequent the area. John was shot in the back just outside his trading post. Very interesting!

I did this one on horseback. Wonderful scenery. One location enabled us to see into Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho and of course Utah, from the same point. We rode from Hwy 191 at McKee Draw to the Summit of Leidy Peak. We spent six days covering the distance.

Did this one horseback. We rode from Hwy 191 at McKee Draw to East Park the along the Highline Trail to the Summit of Leidy Peak. We made a week of it and had a fantastic time. The trail goes on across the Uintas to Mirror Lake. I'd like to the rest one day!

Took a camping/fly fishing trip a few weeks ago. Despite the water running high, I was able to catch a few rainbows and browns. It is beautiful up there, but quite busy.
