A lot of people on this trail because most of Bryce is closed. Rim trail and Navajo and some connecting into it are still ok. Too many tourists slipping and sliding in tennis shoes. Not a fan today. Notes for no Bryce in winter.

This trail is really, really cool. Hiking Bryce Canyon was a bucket list item for me and this place definitely did not disappoint. The rocks look like they’re from another planet. It’s relatively short hike and has a moderate elevation gain. If hiking in the summer months, bring lots of water. It is appropriate for children, but not dogs. The top part of the trail is heavily trafficked. But if you hike down into the canyon, you can get quiet and unobstructed views.

Great trail- one of the two open in early March. Walking poles and mini spikes helped a LOT. Continues onto lower inspiration point. Past that, the trail is closed.

Snowshoeing this trail was so much fun! Marlene from the visitors center was a great guide.

Nice hike to take I’ll be back to see this in the summer

Great views, well traveled trail. Steep ascent at the end difficult for the elderly/out of shape

as of Late week of February, Bryce Canyon NP is mosty buried in snow. The only points open are sunrise, sunset point, partial inspiration and partial Bryce Point. Everything south of Bryce Point is closed. All trails under the rim are closed due to deep snow and avalanche dangers. The conditions look like they will be the same for the next few weeks.

Fyi: currently closed until snow melts, likely not for a while.

About the only trail still open at Bryce in the snow conditions.

Only the road from the main road into Bryce to fairlyand point (then a little on the rim) due to snow conditions

Lots of snow and quite cold in the morning. Watched the sunrise from Sunset Point; the light on the hoodoos was a sight to behold.

Beautiful views all along the trail! Because of the snow, we actually started at sunset point and hiked from there. Snowshoes were extremely helpful given there were a couple of feet of snow.

A LOT OF SNOW TODAY. They got a few feet of snow yesterday, so this was quite challenging. Snow shoes recommended.

Great hike. This is on the difficult side with many, many elevation changes. Took roughly 4 hours to hike from Sunrise to Sunset point including Peekaboo loop.

The most Spectacular hike ever at Bryce Canyon!!

They aren’t lying when they say this trail is hard. I’ve done this and it was a great experience but... it’s kind of hard. If you want to do it I would definitely recommend I had a lot of fun. It definitely is a hard 5 miles but super worth the views. It feels like a whole other world down on the canyon floor. Do this hike but definitely be prepared!

Hiked late April. Just stunning. it was a beautiful day and lots of wonderful photo ops.

Did on Jan 3, 2019. One of the most awe-inspiring, beautiful, out-of-this-world hikes! Especially in winter with the snow dusting the rocks. Parked at the lot near sunrise point. Started at sunrise point, went down queens garden trail, continued onto Navajo loop (Wall Street portion was closed but took the other leg to get to sunset point, then walked along rim trail to get back to sunrise point. Did the hike in hiking boots— was a little icy/slippery especially at the tops of the trail near sunrise point and particularly sunset point, but hiking boot were fine. Wouldn’t really recommend doing it in street shoes during winter when it’s icy— lots of people slipping especially trying to go down the trail from sunset point (more heavily trafficked in that area so the ice was slicker)

Definitely a great trail, went down queens garden to Navajo (also did the peakaboo loop) and we wore traction going up Navajo because of the ice. The hike was gorgeous and highly recommended, but I was glad we asked the ranger who recommended going up Navajo instead of down this time of year.

A fantastic hike with incredible views. I went counterclockwise on the loop and at the top of the first climb there is a view that makes the entire hike more than worth it. Certainly a hard hike, with lots of up and down switchbacks, but “peakaboo” moments around every bend.

2nd best hike in the Park...

The views along this trail are so pretty! It’s a bonus that you can bring your fur balls, too! I’ll be back in warmer weather to enjoy it a bit longer.
