Absolutely stunning if done early morning or sunset.

Interesting things to see on this trail. The bristlecone pines are shaped and twisted in a bizarre kind of way making them appear like creatures from a fantasy movie. We were there last Sunday morning and it was 29°F and very windy. Be careful with your footing as there are plenty of loose rocks!

Beautiful views at the end and so neat to see the Bristle Cone pine trees with their twisted roots. Steep and rocky, but our kids 5-13 did great.

Super easy, more of a stroll. Definitely kid and dog friendly

This is one of my favorite little hikes. In July, the wildflowers are unreal. It’s a pretty easy hike and my kids (ages 4, 6 and 8) handle it pretty well. Lots of shade from the lovely evergreens.

I’ve done this trail in the winter many times, beautiful views and fun to slide around on the frozen pond

No crowds, spectacular views- bring water. You must like heights.

lovely views totally worth hiking the whole trail for the view!

Great views! Perfect weather in the fall.

Absolutely amazing area with almost no people. I think I met less than 5 people during the hike (about 1.5-2 hours) and parking was also largely empty. This trail seems to be the best way to take in the views, which includes not only Cedar Breaks itself, but also a number of bristlecone pine trees. Highly recommend this if you are in southern Utah.

Beautiful view of the sunset. You can watch the sunset from the parking lot at the beginning of the hike and skip the hike though or there is even a parking lot at the end of the hike if you wanted to skip the hike altogether. It was cold, which is the only reason I would think of skipping the hike. Beautiful paved path.

We hiked to Spectra Point and back, didn't have more time. Even on a Sunday mid Oct, not really crowded. Great views, spectacular scenery!

Sun River hiking club, hiked Sidney Peaks Trail. It was a out and back trail.

Pretty views, but crowded. Stunning views of Cedar Breaks.

This was a great little trail we did on our last day in UT. A bit overgrown, but it feels wild and the pond was beautiful and lush with dragonflies. A lot of downed trees.

Wonder views. You are almost in the clouds. It takes longer to drive the 3 miles up the gravel road than to walk the summit. Bet it is beautiful in the spring with alpine flowers.

This was our first hike after arriving. Had a bit of trouble adjusting to the altitude but paced ourselves and did fine. Pond is crystal clear and peaceful. Only came upon one group of hikers so enjoyed the serenity. Do the lower trail first as the climb will be easier going up the upper trail. So glad we did this hike.

Has a few nice views or the meadows and the canyons, but mostly walking thru trees and blowdown. The alpine pond is a brief but nice area. Somewhat challenging hike if you're not used to the altitude, like myself. Enjoyed the hike over all. Lots of shared area, but it was a cool breezy day so that wasn't quite as important. Lots and lots of wildflowers and (non-nuisance) insect activity.

This was an enjoyable hike and some of the formations looked a lot like Bryce NP. Not crowded at all though. Only met a few hikers the whole time. Saw 5 condors overhead as we finished. Nice scenery and an easy hike for us

This was a wonderful hike we took with our family and carrying an infant . The views were amazing in all directions while on the trail. The pond was bigger than I imagined and so inviting. The trail is well maintained. I recommend taking the lower trail and wind back on the upper trail.
