Short and beautiful trail!

This is a great non-technical single track ride. We took a group of 15 around the lake and all riders aging from 12 to 45 made it the whole way without any trouble. The trail is a lot of short ups and downs through the pine and aspen trees. There is even one spot where the trail hits an ancient lava field. I'd highly recommend this one. Can't wait to try it again!

This was a very easy hike and the waterfall was very cool. It was pretty crowded the Saturday afternoon we were there, and the length and difficulty made it a little unsatisfying in light of the drive required (from Cedar City) to get there. Still, very fun and beautiful views. Good for kids.

Great hike. Beautiful trail, and great distance views! Trail was a little rocky in the first 2 sections but didn't stop us. We did this hike in 3 legs. Strawberry to cascade falls, then 2 days later we did cascade falls to te-ah campground then 1 week later we did te-ah to woods ranch. If we did it again we would end at deer haven cg. From there to woods ranch is a rocky road and a lot of exposure. We would love to do this and camp 1/2 way through.

Beautiful trail with free of charge access and less than one mile one way on foot.

3 mile drive on a gravel road from the Duck Creek visitor center. Then a .9 mile hike to fly he falls.

This is actually an easy hike. You drive most of the way and it's no more than a mile to the falls

really great hike. its actually less than 2 miles round trip to do. well worth the drive up to it

Very pretty hike. Well maintained and not hard at all. Trail distance is very inaccurate though. More like a 1.75 mile round trip.

This hike had a beautiful view and was not difficult to do with 2 toddlers in backpacks. It was much shorter for us, though, as the straight part of the hike at the beginning was a road to a parking lot so we continued driving it without realizing.

I wouldn't go with small children (we did), the trail is right on the edge of the mountain and some parts had slid. We loved it though. Beautiful beautiful hike.

Amazing views, and a well beaten path made this a great choice, and an easy hike for our whole family. It's ACTUALLY little more than a mile round-trip hike from the trailhead. It was easy for my 8 year old daughter.

Great hike for the family. Not hard at all. Beautiful views of the valley. The red rock is amazing. The trail can be a little wet from the water run off.

Navajo loop trail is an awesome ride. Not very technical, for someone who hasn't ridden much in the last few years. Well maintained trail. Exercise caution through the lava beds because fishtailing might lead to an unfortunate encounter with a lava rock. (Just a scrape and it was totally my mistake. )
I would recommend this to anyone.

Nice hike, steep in places but fun.

Monday, July 18, 2016

This was a fun hike. The trail is actually only 0.6 miles one way, so just over 1 mile in to the falls and back. There are some steep edges in parts so you may want to hold younger children's hands, but they can easily maneuver the trail. Beautiful scenery along the way! Be sure to take pics! The waterfall is nice and large at the end of the trail, and you get to look over it from the top/side. Enjoy!!! :)

Good trail steep edges where you have to watch out for children. Cool waterfall coming out of a rock cavern at the end of the hike. A lot of great scenic views along the trail.

The trail is actually less than 2 miles out and back. There is a dirt road that leads to the trailhead which starts at a lookout where you can see Zion in the south. It's a beautiful trail. Moderate because there are a few places where it's a drop off so hood the little ones hands.

rode the loop clockwise two days ago... the trail is in great condition... trail crews were out there cleaning it up the week prior, no fallen trees. Super fun pretty flowy, I plan to take the family next time. The lake is at 9000 feet elevation so my nostrils and lungs were burning a bit.

I just biked this trail on Saturday (May 28, 2016) and it still has snow patches and huge fallen trees. It hasn't been cleaned up yet for the summer. It is still an awesome ride! The views are amazing and there aren't many people there at all. Will do again.

Easy 1 mile RT hike to falls. Most of the hike is on decent trail, though there are one or two very short sections that were slightly more challenging. Trail modulates up and down, mostly down to the falls themselves. Great views of the "Pink Cliffs". Wonderful views the entire way.

This is a great singletrack trail with a bit of everything - climbs, downhill flows, great views of the lake, old growth pines, meadows and even a segment through an old lava flow. Nothing too technical but I agree with the 'moderate' rating due to some of the climbs and the approx. 9,500' elevation.

To avoid losing the trail, be sure to go CW from the trailhead (or from the trail crossing on Navajo Lake Rd.).
