Trail was nothing to speak of but the Destination was very cool. Rocks to climb and cool blue well.

Very nice trail. mostly flat and easy terrain. Not all the turns are clearly marked, so you need to keep an eye on the trail map.

The trail itself is rather short however it is still enjoyable as the terrain provides a variety of scenery from hills to rocks and ledges as well as the natural foliage. Of course you cannot forget the the beautiful well itself—a great way to cool off after a hot day. The water was in the 60s and the day was 107° when I hiked. You will need reservations however to swim the well and due to popularity, I recommend booking far in advance.

Very well maintained park, clean trails, no trash, beautiful scenery. The smell of cedar envelops the air, the live oaks, & cypress provide canvass from the sun. Trails are paved with mulch and are easy to navigate without a map. The hole is separated from the trails by fence and you need to book reservations in advance if you would like to swim, however you may hike without them. The water is stunning and cold, offering diving and rope swings at the deep end and a nice place to chill at the shallow end. There are tables there so you do not have to bring chairs but there’s a big grassy area If you’re a blanket type. Bathrooms on site.

Weirdest thing, you have to make reservations well in advance!! We are from out of town and had no clue. Got in anyway, until park ranger lady kicked us out

Easy trail for all ages. Easy to find and good parking.

It was a short hike to the hole, but it definitely paid off once we got there. You do need a reservation, but it wasn’t too strict.

Apparently you need to buy a ticket to swim in advance. There was a 16yo lifeguard down there, but she seemed unconcerned. I went swimming anyway. It was a nice temp. Cool 68°F but don’t let that bother you. It was plenty warm. Clear water with lots of variety of colorful fish, both large and small. Lots of places to lounge, wade, or jump into the well. Ten foot jumping cliff. The spring was 140+ feet, but only about 45” at the first shelf.

walking, spring fed swim hole, birding, no dogs allowed

Perfect for dogs who need leash training or unruly around other dogs since there is never too many people here. Favorite place to walk/hike. Very beautifully done.

Beautiful area with well maintained trails and great scenery. Good walk for a family to get out and move! Our pup loved it too. There are several stations that have dog waste resources. Keep that park clean! :)
