excellent trail.

Not so much a hike that we hoped for. Really turned into a 5 mile walk at a good pace for cardio. Pretty surroundings, abundant wildlife , trail was paved the entire way. Nice, clean, safe and plentiful parking. Probably would not go again though.

we got there early, GPS took us to the deer loop spot and we started walking realized we we're back at the car quick. had to download map to know where to go. signs got confusing at times. but it was kept up well. it was nice. my daughter and I went and all of the holes were friendly on the trails. the view from the top is awesome. felt great. definitely would go back.

Nice shaded trail with a good amount of elevation changes. Several spots where the views are nice. I recommend bringing water since there is none except at the trailhead. Even if the parking is full once you get of the main loop you will be alone for most of the hike.

Love this trail -go early this time of year to beat the heat & the crowds. We arrived at 6:15 am today and gates were open even though it was still pretty dark. I appreciate that they open the park early this time of year.

Was fun. The terrain was easy with minor rocky climbs

was able to get this and a little more completed today before it got to hot. Always enjoy the trails here with the extra climbing to get some exercise in a short hike. Very necessary here in San Antonio during our long summers.

Great trails with plenty of tree cover and steep hills. We've hiked as little as 2 miles and up to 8 miles. Rocky terrain so wear good hiking shoes/boots.

Great trail for a long run. This is a fully paved/concrete trail, so not exactly “trail running”. No cars, not too much foot traffic, occasional obnoxious cyclist who thinks he’s in the Tour de France, etc. It’s a great time, and lots of different access points.

Great clean trails for training..

I run here from my house which is a mile away. It is a great place to get some hills and enjoy the beautiful scenery up to the top where you there is a great view of the city which is a nice reward for your climb. There are benches at the top and water as well if you want to sit and enjoy the view for a spell.

Good hike for one hr. Took a loop starting with Yucca and came down thru Hill view..

Such a beautiful park! Paved trail for walking, jogging, or biking. Dirt trails for biking, hiking, and exploring. We saw a family of deer, and they were so friendly. There is a nice playground, and the park is very clean.

Took Main loop. It’s a quick 45 mins walk. Lots of trail options available. Have to come back and explore.

Park is closed Tuesday. Wednesday, and Thursday

The beginning was a little boring, but the second half was worth it!

Great trail mountain biking. A lot of off trails to leave the main paved road. Also, a couple of mountain biking playgrounds with dirt jumps to go off on for a brake from the trail.

Rocky, exposed and barely anything you’d call singletrack

Great trail.. a bit of adventure if you are not on track.. but great experience!

Great trails. Love the deer and birds and the smell of fresh cut grass. Go early to see less bikers and more nature. ALLTRAILS worked fantastic. Thanks for the track.

Most trails were a basic level 3 and covered by trees, however there are a lot of open trails in the sunshine and much warmer. Even though it is near homes there is nature and deer and still fairly quiet. A lot of new trails to take and many bike trails. Its not bad if you just want to get a few miles of basic hiking in early in the day.

it was fun but it is Rocky

This is a fast easy ride !!! Single track with some rock gardens with no obstructions to look ahead

For the most part everything is cool, the trail is pretty narrow at times. More bicyclists than hikers which for the most part isn’t a problem. There is the occasional “I’m better than you, get out of my way” bicyclist. I don’t take too kindly to that, I am courteous and respectful and realize that I am slower so I move out of the way and even apologize for the inconvenience I may be causing. I however am not gonna run 5 feet off the trail into waste high grass or what ever for you. Being a rude jerk won’t get you anywhere, be respectful and courteous to EVERYONE and everyone will be happy and fine.

Remarkably handsome for being smack dab in civilization so-called. There is a striking variety of greenery and, if you hear a rustle in the forest, chances are decent it is a rabbit. The paved incline is steep enough for a nice gain that given its short distance you can master in short order. As others have mentioned, there is a network of side trails that take you up forest gains that are more challenging than the paved incline. The highlight, though, is 'The Hill,' a jagged rise exposed to the sun that hits you hardest as you are reaching your limit. The proper way to master this climb is to repeat it so there is no doubt who goes out on top. Just do not try this after a heavy lunch.
