Great trail to see wildlife. My son and I went here in the fall and saw quite a few deer.

I love this trail. It offers beautiful views with the multiple streams that run along the walkway. Easy enough for a simple stroll, and long enough for a great run. I have a blind dog who has trouble getting comfortable with walking outside, and he had no issues navigating the trail (with a leash, of course). My mother, who trains for half marathons runs here every weekend and loves it as well. Only problem is people leaving dog waste bags along the way, please practice Leave No Trace principles!

This is not a hiking trail, it’s a road and equestrian trail hence the horse manure. There’s no tranquility or trail guidance. Not intended for hiking or running.

Nice Easy Hike, Lots Of traffic, lots people with nice looking dogs..

Great trails in here. Can’t wait to go back!

Love the trail, it’s a bit tricky to get to since there aren’t much signs near the parking lots, but once you’re on the trail there will be signs leading you along the way. Lastly the trail is amazing, with rocks along the way, and if it has rained recently don’t be surprised if you run into mud.

sweet lil trail. nothing strenuous

This was a decent trail with a great outlook to the city of San Antonio at a elevation right at 1000. There was a bit of traffic noise that took away from the nature scene and the trails were not properly marked, especially for the 3rd level trail. People didn't pick up their dog dropping either. I forgot about all that at the outlook and enjoyed a few minutes of peace, clouds and wind. Was pleasant enough for me to say I'd go back.

super easy side gravel trails are pretty

Has the potential to be a great park, but it’s in serious need of maintenance and repair with the trails. Also, the trash and tires in the creek is unfortunate and needs to be addressed.

Great trail but can be muddy after rains.

Sadly more trash than most areas I frequent. Would be a gorgeous walk through the woods if not.

First hike for my wife (Crystal) and I with our dog (Cooper). Kept it short but definitely looking forward to more adventures and longer hikes.

Nice trail for an urban park. Nice scenery, elevation change.

Quite nice walk, I loves high pine trees all around. The hike is paved which was really good today after heavy rains (everything else was flooded). There is plenty of playgrounds along the trail so our kids had several rewards. Also plenty of spaces for having picnic or BBQ.

It's Houston so rule out hiking....but as far as trails go, this is one of the better loops in the city. Great views of downtown, skate park (with food trucks), dog park, volleyball courts, and even a fancy brunch restaurant - so it should appeal to just about everyone :)

Trail a day challenge 2019
Rainy and cold day so parts of the trail was a waterfall Always a good workout.... Under an hour and gets the blood pumping every time

My children and I enjoyed the walk, with views of the skyscrapers which we joked about being our urban mountains. Great number of herons and egrets, fun people watching, dog park, graffiti, sculptures, trees to climb, and an amazing skatepark. Thoughtfully planned areas for families.

New year's day 2019. it was a bit muddy in the valleys, but passable. Love this park.

This little hike is great! My son and I climbed to the top in less than an hour and my husband picked us up at the top. We would like to have completed the old CCC trail which joins this trail at the top but maybe next time. The switch backs have a lot of loose rock but not too steep. We went in the morning and had shade most of the way. The trail head is a little difficult to find you go right at the interpretive center.

Great path for biking, running, or walking the dog. Smooth, wide, flat, easy. Not sure why people are complaining about parking. Just park in any of the neighborhoods or apartment complexes that the trail runs through. Floods often - that's the only criticism.

You have to venture past the paved trail to find the nice parts. Once the pavement comes to an end, keep going! We went the day after a good rain, so the creek was flowing well. We even found a pretty good sized waterfall (good sized, relatively speaking) on the side of the trail opposite of the creek.

The paved trail is great, but the dirt paths are even better! The wife and I enjoyed ourselves at this trail! Can’t wait to come back!

Parts are challenging loose rock climbs parts flow fast and fun. Beautiful hill country scenery. Starts in a really nice city maintained park with restrooms and paved parking. I am not from this area but thoroughly enjoyed this trail system and plan to visit again.

So great and safe so close to the heart of the city

It is a concrete path the entire hike. It’s easy to follow with slight elevation throughout the trail. Some parts are along residential streets. Good for beginners.

Great trail. But lots of bikers so beware. Pretty little creek amongst the trails. Even a few small bluegill you can catch. Another beautiful outdoor place in the Austin/Cedar Park area.

One of the best trails In the area. I like to come here for a short hike or nice jog. Sadly it is filled with trash some spots and I wish parks and rec cared to clean it but it’s also the people fault for throwing trash there. Other than that great bike trail too or place to take your dog.

Pros: has some dirt paths, nice trees and ponds
Cons: no trail markers, lots of trash in creek
