great diverse trail well designed

Great trail, recently has installed informative tree signs and has a active beaver pond with a 8 foot beaver dam with lodge.

Nice trail with some shaded areas. Lots of picnic tables along the way. Took a BOB double stroller with my 3yo, 1yo, and 6yo. 6yo walked to whole way.

Very nice trail. Took the dogs for a walk but we didn’t get very far cause we ran into a pretty large snake! But we will definitely go back when I find a good walking stick.. Well marked and well maintained from what I did get to see.

It was a decent trail...is close enough to do it again.

Awesome, but if anyone finds 2 keys that are a mail key and a house key on an keyring.. if y’all could message me At (870) 754-0077 I would greatly appreciate it thank you...

Good trail. Well maintained and clear path. Lots of the trail is not under tree cover so I recommend coming early (opens at 8am). Bring some sun screen just in case. I would recommend connecting back to the inbound portion of the trail at the 4K sign and walk it in ‘reverse’. The last kilometer meanders through the open field and is not that interesting.

There is a new sign at the trail head, yeah.... we looped around twice plus did another half loop.... this was the busiest I have seen this trail ever. In 2 1/2h we saw 1 runner, 2 hikers and one person on a bike ..... please note that this trail gets mowed in parts over the summer about every 2 weeks, but it has an issue with water. If it rains it gets extremely muddy in places due to a very high water table near the creek. We usually wait for 3-4 days after a rain event....

I have been out here a few times and like others mentioned the trail markings are pretty bad. Today we managed to follow the entire blue trail, about 8 miles. Please note we hiked. We did come across only one tree laying over the trail. My hiking partner today (he is also a mountain biker) said the trail was not the best, but bike-able. I figured out where I had gone wrong on my previous attempt to hike the blue trail. I had left the trail and followed some of the red trail to the paint ball area and ended up taking the blue trail back up the mountain and ended up losing the trail after the big uphill next to the intersection of Liberty Hill road and Nolan Road. The trail is designed to be followed from the parking lot at the Obstacle course clockwise. Some of the trail markings are not visible going the other direction. Some nice soul has marked some of the trail with blue spray paint and made staying on the trail a lot easier, because the "official" trail markings are sometimes misleading or flat out wrong (especially where the blue and green trails meet) I plan on going back and tying some flags on the trees soon. Personally I think the searching for the trail at times are part of the fun hiking this trail .... Please note that we had checked in at the entrance to BLORA , had gotten a map -just like the one in parking lot - and used it in conjunction with the GPS on my phone when we were unsure. The reason to check in is that the place is very little travelled and they ask you to at least call to let them know you are off the trail....

For hiking the red trails (good luck finding them) are fun to hike. For riding a bike.....I would not. Tons of trees over the route, branches across the trail, lots of loose leaves/rocks. It’s just a mess. And seriously....what’s up with the lack of trail marks? Don’t the green and red trails get some love?

Not very well maintained

Very bumpy! And very hard to see the trail markings. We got confused on green trail several times but ended up figuring it out. Have to ride through a lot of brush and can lose the trail easily.

The Blue Trail is amazing to hike. And...it looks like it would be fun to hike. Today, however, the rain has the trail flooded in some spots, very muddy, and super slippery. Take care of you do any of these trails in the rain.

Worst trail ever. I have to agree they are very poorly marked. what might be a trail is so overgrown you don't know. you have the option of three different trails but the only thing that tells you that you're on your Trail is sometimes a blue paint limb or maybe a rock in the ground. I got lost and it took me for 4 hours. the only reason I gave it one star is because it will not allow you to post without writing it this is the time that you need a negative star

This is marked as a biking trail. There are 3 trails, well marked, green, blue and red, depending on difficulty level. I hiked the green trail, it was OK. The last third is along a road and not excting. Easy hike, maybe I should have done the blue or red instead.

The trails are poorly marked- it's easy to get confused especially since the trail outlined here isn't accurate. It's close- you can follow it for a reference and be OK, but there are a few spots that are hard to read. There are also hunters out during deer season (I don't think they're supposed to be out here). Also keep an eye out for cattle.... they wander freely through the area (they ARE allowed to be out here). Overall, it's alright- nothing spectacular.

I entered the trail from the Sparta Mountain location on the app/map. Due to the rain the trails are quite muddy. I hiked up to the Sparta Mountain and took the Blue Trail back to my start point. There are lots of rocks and mud along the blue trail. Not for the beginner mountain bike rider. I would suggest (as someone else has) to bring a spare tube and be ready to 'clip out' in one scrambling situations.

Decent hike but trails are not well marked around the 'check in' point. You will want to have your gps/app accessible. Very quiet hike with no human interaction. Only a few cows to say 'hello' to. I would recommend entering this trail from the Sparta Mountain location. There is a map at the parking lot and you will be able to identify the color coded routes.

When I went the beginner trail was rough as someone drove a truck through the trail along with what looked like horse's and cow's going through. So Ive tried the Intermitted trail as I rode it before, It was a mistake as it is overgrown with branches covering the trail and sign's and paint nearly covered up or completely gone. If they took more care of the trail's I would give them a better star rating.

Overgrown trails with very poor signage. Many trails run out into fallen trees and brush. If there were good trail maintenance with some clear trail markings, these could be 5/5 stars. Nice open paths which changes from loamy, piney dirt to very rocky terrain. Sections are difficult to climb but a blast to descend.

The trails at BLORA were pretty fun to ride. I would recommend that you have a good level of cardio before tackling any of these trails. Also, proper shifting technique is a good skill to have. There are a lot of rocky areas and some cactus to look out for. Although challenging it was worth the effort.

We had a fun time got lost in some of it needs to go with map no j or k on it rocks not to bad The climbs were fine will go back

This is a rock garden heaven... bring a back up tube... overall this trail system has huge potential but is unfortunately not as well maintained as it should be.. If you are willing to take some time and have the instinct to feel your way instead of have it clearly marked, you can have a great time out here.. the huge plus on this system is VERY LOW trail traffic... its almost like its a secret for the area... We visit it regularly and again, just really wish it was maintained a bit more.

I enjoyed it. It was pretty rocky and kept you on your toes. Didn't get to ride the whole thing cause I got there late and wanted to be sure I made it back by sundown since I was by myself. I will definitely go back and ride the rest of them. Why are there no routes showing up on this trail?

As others have stated, very rocky. Some sections are too rocky. Good mountain biking though. A lot of small ups and downs. Some of the upper, non-rocky sections can become very boring.

This trail has been updated with more and more to ride. A few of us groom and add trails monthly. From start to finish Dana Peak trail is 18 miles. Great ride.

Slightly difficult trail. A lot if hills and very rocky. Nice area to relax after the hike.
