It was great riding on the north end. Although it was closed off further up because of construction. The ride is worth the view. Plenty of water to look at.

The trail is at 5600 Riverside, the entrance that All Trails gives is permanently closed...

Kristen and I walked this from trailhead east. We want to come back and see where trail goes west. We suspect to George Bush. After we went under loop 12 there was an abandoned golf course (twin wells). We hiked all through and were the only ones.

We started at Mountain creek reserve. As soon as you get on the path to walk, the scenery totally changes. While on one side there are trees and shrubs, the right side is a constant eyesore of construction sites, equipment and noise and trash and the constant odor of sewage. We walked to the Bonnie and Clyde bridge, which was an unexpected fun site.. but again more construction surrounding it. There is trash littering that whole part of the trail, with signs saying keep out everywhere. The smell, the whole trail is really bad with sewage. And the swarms (yes swarms) of mosquitos was awful.. (obviously because of all of the standing water). We have walked many trails, this might be the worst ever. Not what we were expecting at all. Along with all of that, we were almost afraid to leave our vehicle in the parking area, because of all the youngsters sitting around in their vehicles watching everyone that drove in.

Never crowded except for the bugs. Could use more water stations. Nice workout equipment at various spots. Lots of shaded woods along the way.

A simple 1.3 mile loop without much up and down that is all concrete. A decent workout on a sunny day. A favor number of people were out and about but there trail wad not overly crowded.

Great cement trail, gets busy on nice evenings...

The trail is next to a shooting range. The gunshots scare all the wildlife away. The nature trails are closed and need maintenance. The main path is paved concrete 10 ft wide. Too urban for my dog and me.

Paved trail good for runs. Some sections are closed due to flooding.

Nice cement path. Easy to get to. A little construction on the path but a nice detour.

Running, and skating, exploring.

Paved, amazing trail in Irving! You run by the canal as well as the Polo club. Not hard grade and easy terrain.

Keenans Crossing is not a trail per se, but a small portion of the much larger Campion Trail; just as Valley Ranch or Las Colinas is an area with-in the larger City of Irving. The whole trail is marked along the trail with wooden posts that have names and numbers indicating distance and sub-sets of the trail (Sam Houston, Keenans Crossing, Spring Trail, etc.). However, every marker has a CT (Campion Trail) followed with some numbers. I believe the trail head is located in Valley Ranch close to the cross streets of Valley Ranch Parkway and Cimarron Trail. The number on the Post at that location is 101, which is the lowest number along the whole of the trail. The whole trail is really just a very wide concrete sidewalk. There are however, areas along the trail where it is possible to walk, run, or ride off the sidewalk onto a natural surface which parallels the sidewalk.

Long wide trail, still have not run the complete trail, but decent views, on the border of Dallas & Irving. Pot-a-potty stations, some water fountains. Dont recommend running here alone only because not a lot of foot traffic, and no lights at night. Otherwise a good place to get a lo g distance run.
