Beautiful! Feels like you are in the woods not a city which is exactly what I wanted. Not a ton of people when I went on a Sunday morning. Great place to clear your head, walk in nature, and see some wildlife. Easy trail and definitely will be back with the kids.

Overall, nice place. A little over 10 miles to complete and I only saw 1 restroom along the way, and it was at the beginning of the trail. The cyclist at a little bit reckless, and the pedestrians are a little bit careless. But I had a good time.

Fav trails to ride in Houston!

Comprised of multiple trails of varying lengths, with many trails in heavily wooded, shaded areas. The half mile loop around a ravine (the Ravine trail, duh) was especially scenic and had some up and down hill slopes to it. There is traffic noise in places but I soon tuned it out as white noise. A nice hidden gem considering it is only a few miles from downtown. I logged four miles by hiking different trails, including the Ravine Loop twice.

Another nice hike in town. Started on purple and merged to blue. Fun trail with a little elevation. Trail shared with bikers but most everyone we met gave us the courtesy to stand aside.

This isn't exactly a trail review since we weren't on the trail very long. Seemed like a great mountain biking course and was along a creek. Within minutes of parking (Anthill parking lot) and hitting the trail our car was broken into (door handle drilled in some fashion in the key hole) and multiple items were stolen including credit cards which were immediately used at Kroger down the road. Yes, I know, I should have taken them with me. But use my experience as a warning! We were in a heavily tinted vehicle so they didn't break in knowing they'd find something. No security in this parking lot, not many people frequent it all day, and this was a FAST job. Hikers and bikers, beware. Also, side note, good luck getting the police to come out if something does happen.

About as good as you’re going to get in a major city for a hike/bike trail. Pros: paved - quiet - length of trail - runs by river/creek - mostly shaded - occasional water fountains Cons: paved - you share with bikers, many who think they’re on the Tour de France Great place to get some quiet and exercise in Houston.

Decent trail, not marked really but pretty easy to follow. Trash galore though, lots of beer cans and water bottles strewn about. Public parks aren’t public trash cans, I really wish the people who toss their trash on the sides of the trail would think a bit deeper about how careless it is to do so.

Ok, but a ton of roots so it was hard to find flow. Some jump trails, though, so that was fun. Enter by Dairy Ashford. I parked at memorial and it took a while to get to the open trails.

Great & easy trail. People are chill to let dogs off leash. Shared with some mountain bikes. A bit of bugs so bring bug spray.

Parts need mx but great views on a nice cool day!

This map is okay but a little off. Maybe it was done before Harvey. Also, it’s not really “the Orange Trail” only. In fact, it is not possible to get to the orange trail without utilizing the purple and/or blue trails. The mosquitos were really bad today so I was unable to accurately record a better map for my use but may try that when it gets a little cooler.
