Fun pretty run with my 14 year old

Very good trail. Wooden bridges needed repairs on the road boards. Beautiful marsh views with lots of birds.

This is not a well marked trail. Even the maps they hand out are confusing for first time trail comers.

Dog friendly, all paved beautiful, picture worthy scenes. not bad but certainly not a strenuous workout or anything.

Starts out as a paved trail that quickly turns primitive. And that’s great. It seems like it is mostly used for mountain biking but I enjoyed the hilly roughness of it. I had a good workout climbing up and down the hills. To my mountain biking friends, I promise to get out of the way when I hear you coming if you’re willing to tolerate me being in the trail.

Nice trail but some spots are difficult to stay on correct trail and some trail erosion near the bayou. Overall a very pleasant hike for middle of Houston

Nice trail for middle of Houston, part of trail is a dirt road for service vehicles. Better than walking the sidewalks

very nice Trail a lot of shade a lot of water very busy though sometimes you bottleneck

Bike lane cycling on smooth roads. Minimal trees, open land, high traffic, many PokeStops (if you play Pokemon Go) and many restrooms available.

Great trails, recently repaved. Can take a shorter route to stay on trails and avoid walking on the roads

Great trails! I’m a first time mountain biker, and these trails are great for beginners with intermediate trails! The community is also nice! I realize I’m out of shape for it, but people would ask if I needed help!

My first thought was I wasn’t sure where to park. It was a Saturday so I parked in the elementary school parking lot. When I got back people had parked on the road next to the gigantic house (you’ll know the one). I cut from the sidewalk up to the top of the levee and walked along the gravel path. The overlook of the reservoir was nice. In the morning, it wasn’t too crowded and I let my lab walk off leash. There aren’t any benches, water fountains, or shade spots. Which is fine, as long as you know what to expect.

one of the best trails in inner loop Houston, if not the best. My German Shepherd loved it.
