Very good trail. Wooden bridges needed repairs on the road boards. Beautiful marsh views with lots of birds.

This is not a well marked trail. Even the maps they hand out are confusing for first time trail comers.

Nice trail for middle of Houston, part of trail is a dirt road for service vehicles. Better than walking the sidewalks

one of the best trails in inner loop Houston, if not the best. My German Shepherd loved it.

Great hike with the dog. Wide and traveled for much of the trail. Trail marker down at south east corner. Go west or north to stay on purple!

Wide, well-marked, flat and easy loop trail around the arboretum area. Passes through numerous habitats including forest, prairie, savanna, and bayou. You have to pay to park unless you come on a Thursday, when parking is free. Very popular due to location, and highway noise from nearby I-610 is ever-present. Overall, a nice suburban hike.

I have heard so much about this trail, I particularly like dirt trails so I attempt to seek them out, (my ankles let me know the day after I walk on a paved trail so I try to avoid at all costs but for some reason love the dirt and crave moderate/hard trails) so I had a hard time finding the trail head and followed this ap to try to find it, a mile later I came to what I believe was the trail head but it was fenced off! Said for construction which I did see going in further up the paved (blue jay or quail trail) the area seemed so nice and dense with woods so my point of this is also to ask if there are any dirt trails in this area

Overall, nice place. A little over 10 miles to complete and I only saw 1 restroom along the way, and it was at the beginning of the trail. The cyclist at a little bit reckless, and the pedestrians are a little bit careless. But I had a good time.

pretty easy trail, with great views of the river. the west side was pretty muddy, but not in impassable. there are some tight spots where sharing with the bikers means one of you will end up in the bushes, but not too many. it's a nice trail for a light Sunday afternoon hike.

Comprised of multiple trails of varying lengths, with many trails in heavily wooded, shaded areas. The half mile loop around a ravine (the Ravine trail, duh) was especially scenic and had some up and down hill slopes to it. There is traffic noise in places but I soon tuned it out as white noise. A nice hidden gem considering it is only a few miles from downtown. I logged four miles by hiking different trails, including the Ravine Loop twice.

Another nice hike in town. Started on purple and merged to blue. Fun trail with a little elevation. Trail shared with bikers but most everyone we met gave us the courtesy to stand aside.
