I love this one! Safe for pulling a trailer with my one year old and plenty of shaded areas!

Great trail if you like a good little hike but don’t mind getting a bit lost. Most of the trails are not marked until you get to the top. Several places are pretty steep but not too bad. The bottom portions are nice with plenty of shade. Not a place for children.

Definitely easy to maneuver and there is always an easier way down those trains.

No trail. Seriously. We hunted. There is a park called love circle but the trailhead leads to an empty lot with no way to walk farther.

I’m not a fan of all sidewalk for a hike, which this is, but it was a pretty trail. I think best suited for bicycles though. We tracked almost

This trail could use some TLC. Not very many wild flowers along the trail itself, but a big patch by the park. Its best to stay on the main trail, we accidently ended up in someone's backyard and a lot of the other trails were cutoffs. Watch for snakes as well! We saw a 2ft black snake at the first creek on the trail.
Bring a small trash bag if you're feeling generous to pick up trash along the trail!

Park is completely shut down & locked up & the southern most parking area doesn’t even have a road going to it anymore! It’s all overgrown so it obviously hasn’t been accessible for quite some time! Totally wasted my time & gas!!

It was really beautiful and there were so many wildflowers. This is great hike for the springtime.

Great for a nice walk. Easy path and saw some deer along the way.

We took our dog and she had a lot of fun. There are a lot of bikes to watch out for if you are going to be walking but other than that, it's a really beautiful trail.

lots of glass in some areas. steep onclines. mind some of the trash if you have dogs or young kids overall really good trail

Clean, smooth, wide concrete lit up path around pond with wildlife. Cool cause it’s away from cars & emissions!
2 restrooms, plenty of benches along the path & even a doggie fountain!

Interesting trail. The good is that it offers a wilderness experience close to downtown. The unpaved trails feel like game trails with just enough hills to keep it fun. Some of the bad things are that there is indeed homeless people camping out, although if you stick to the main trails it is unlikely you will stumble across any. I only saw two trail markers but it's pretty hard to get lost. I went on a rather gloomy day, so the whole experience had a bit of a fallout 4 vibe.

The trails themselves are very nice if you’re looking for rugged natural areas. This review is based on the area. I started hiking here at lunch a few days ago and yesterday discovered a campfire that had gotten out of control. My assumption is that this area is close enough to downtown to have homeless people camping here. I will not be going again. If you are in a group you may feel safe but I would not go alone or with smaller children.

Very nice and clean. Great place to walk, run or just hang out by the water.

Rode from University Street to Downtown Fort Worth. Seven miles round trip. Fun easy ride.

Beautiful view but like a previous review, there is a bunch of trash and way too much broken glass all over the trail. No markers either.

Nice trails, love all the switch backs. The lack of trail markers wasn’t a big deal to me because there’s a map at the trailhead. This place could be so beautiful if it weren’t for all the trash. Unfortunately, we share this planet with lazy fucks that don’t respect the beauty that surrounds us.

Great if you’re walking with a small child and/or stroller.

Paved trail. Pretty nice except some idiot decided to run his pickup truck on the trail.

Pretty nice paved trail, my only complaint is that some idiot decided to run his pickup truck on the trail.

Nice for a 2 mile walk/run

Part of the boardwalk is destroyed so the trail is very small

Lots of trash, no trail markers, not appealing.

Nice views of the lake

3-16-18 Center and Refuge is open, only the West Riverbottom trail is closed. It is a nice place to hike, close to the city. It's Texas scenery so, nothing fabulous. Couldn't find any prairie dogs, but the bison are easily viewed.

Mostly paved trail with limited shade

Went with my husband. First thing we noticed was all the broken glass everywhere. It was ridiculous. Then the garbage all over, and I usually stop and pick the trash up but there was too much on this trail. There was 1 trash can that we came across along the trail. It’s unmarked as well. We passed 2 groups of people who were trying to get down to the water. We lived in CO for 7 years and hiked numerous trails within the springs and have never seen as much garbage and broken glass. We call it Hep C falls now. It was disappointing. My husband and I agreed, if the city took any time at all clearing some of the paths, marking some trails, and cleaning up this place it could be great.

Short and scenic. Not stroller friendly but suitable for small kids.

Go towards the end of April/early May, and you will see all the wildflowers you have ever dreamed of.
