Nice hike, I wish the trail head was more easy accessible from the parking area.

One of my favorite trails at the park and much less travelled. Lots of shade and frequent glimpses of wildlife.

Saw deer, plenty of birds, and gators. Very easy and shady trail with beautiful greenery.

Pretty decent trail

This trail is basically a microcosm of Brazos Bend State Park. It is one of the most beautiful scenes in the park. It is loop around the smallest lake on the park. It is a cement trail accessible to everyone. It easy and enjoyable for all ages. I saw several baby alligators. It made sense that the baby alligators might prefer hanging out at Creekfield rather than Elm Lake or 40-Acre lake where the big Gators like to dominate. I can see why, since big alligators eat little Gators.
This is one of the prettiest trails on the park. It offers a show of some of the plants native to this area, including wild Hibiscus, Cypress trees and Duckweed.
This trail is also excellent for sighting water birds! Dragonflies! Butterflies!
Great for getting good pictures. I had the half mile trail to myself on a weekday and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I like the trails on Brazos Bend State Park that a close to where the park borders the Brazos River. These trails are thickly shaded, which makes for a nice walk during hot, sunny days. You are closer to the river where you can get the breezes which are much appreciated during a hot summer afternoon. These trails are away from the crowds, not frequented by the majority of the Park's visitors because they are more remote. They are great afternoon getaway for yourself or you and your honey. There are opportunities to see wildlife in the woodlands there. We saw deer and armadillos and birds. Butterflies, dragonflies and other insects.
