Easy hike which I don’t even considered as a hike lol but it totally worth it to see

Really great little spot but a little expensive ($11 to reserve and $15 to park) and right now the river trail is closed. So very limited if you were in the mood for hiking a couple of miles

Baby wearing through the climbers canyon was both exhilarating and terrifying. Might suggest staying on the gravel foot path if you’re wearing a person ...

Enjoyed it nothing to crazy nice easy trails.

fun, but super easy

Take the green trail for a more beautiful view of the Perdernales River

The hiking trail along the river is foot traffic only and allows for amazing vistas through the canyon. No cards accepted so bring cash. Bring plenty of water and sunscreen—absolutely necessary. Important to note the red highlighted trail shown here on this app is mountain biking only—no foot traffic. The black dotted trail shown here is foot traffic or multi-use. Ask for park map at guardhouse.

Finally made it here! We were so captivated by the pool views, we didn't get to do the mile hike. Next time!

Really easy hike for kids and when you get to the end of the loop, you can climb down onto some amazing rock formations and even to the beach. It’s great for exploring. If you go down to this area, you’ll need to help and keep an eye on kids. There are places where you could easily slip. I also almost stepped on a snake in the rocks. Whew!
If the weather is nice, you could spend hours here.

My best friend and I came here during the week in the heat of the July summer. We were disappointed we were not able to swim, but the beauty of this place is worth exploring. The drive in from either Austin or Marble falls is peaceful with lots of scenery. The park attendants are friendly and informative.

If you have any health risks, I wouldn’t recommend this hike for you. Also, bring extra water in the hotter months.

Go for the pool, but don’t skip the hike!

Great hike. Short but just enough for an easy Sunday morning hike. Beautiful place!!! The only real challenge is the BIG hill. Get here early, they reach capacity quick and will not let anyone else in. $$entry fee!

So beautiful!! We went the day after thanksgiving and didn’t have a reservation. We waited in a car line for 20 minutes and it was more than worth it! If I could imagine a place where mermaids live, it would be Hamilton pool. So thankful we got to visit!! The hike is super easy and pretty heavily trafficked. I think most people don’t bring water which is a must do when hiking.

Great for a day hike, nice swimming near by, beautiful scenery. There are some areas with water, large boulders, and rock climbing as well. Love this park!

really nice view!

I know it seems Wierd, but it IS Austin, Travis County, Texas...but you MUST have a reservation.

Great hiking opportunity, a lot of boulders, I suggest some sort of gloves and watch out for poison ivy. But a fantastic, beautiful hike!!!

I went there in January and you can just go no reservation needed but if you want to swim summer time for sure!

super short and easy hike. kid friendly. I brought my 2 an 5 year old. They have picnic tables by the parking lot. and the waterfall is great. It was only trickling when we went today but I can imagine when after a great rainfall❤ it's absolutely beautiful.

The hike to the pool is very short and very easy! We went on a cool foggy / drizzly day which made it perfect since there were few people going in! Took the the time to look up, look around and just take in the beauty! Also hiked down to the river. Most of the trail is easy with a few challenges. The rain made some of the rocks a little slick but just enough to make it fun! Again if there are not a lot people very quiet and serene.

The outside loop gives you some tough to find mileage, with a few opportunities to explore beyond the trail. Cool winter day is best, as there is little shade.
