Great trail for running and hiking. Busy on the weekends. Trails are well marked and well maintained. If lot is full, Park at the Rec Center. It will add another mile to your hike.

Took a short route today, to avoid the rain. Still great.

came back from Tuscon where I was hiking in the mountains on very difficult trails. I gave this a 4 because this is about as good as you will find in DFW area.

Definitely a little more than I bargained for, but I made it through the multitude of elevation changes! Beautiful trail and lots of scenic views. Wide, clean paths and excellent signage/markers. I felt so old as people ran past me or even lapped me, but I was still out there and finished the trail (plus another one) so I am very happy. Glad to have visited today. Watch out for tree roots and slippery rock surfaces.

I did this trail first, before moving on to the Cedar Brake Trail. This was a great warmup because it let me know how challenging the others would be. Lots of elevation changes. The trail is well-kept and easy to navigate, with plenty of signs and markers.

A really enjoyable moderate hike. Quite a lot of elevation change for North Texas. Highly recommend.

We did Cattail pond trail to cedar brake trail to escarpment trail. Beautiful day with lots of people on the trail.

This was a nice trail going into the woods. The first part is paved and wraps around the park. The second part is all through the woods. At one part of the trail you can watch bikers jump over several little hills in the middle of the woods. That was a pleasant surprise. It shows me that you never know what you may find on your walks in nature.

Should have taken a panoramic of this sh**hole to share with the AllTrails community. So bad.

Great trail. A fair amount of elevation. Doubled my hike.

Another fun trail, but we did not follow the path and it was hard to find our way back

The dog and I visited this park today, and we hiked the Yellow Trail. The trail is well-marked and well-maintained, thanks to DORBA. We made a pit stop at the dog park too. It's good to have a hiking place close by. Only thing missing is a water fountain.

This loop combines multiple trails at Cedar Ridge Preserve for the perfect distance for us. A lot of uphill steps by Dallas standards with some nice views (again by Dallas standards) as well.
