This is an evolving trail consisting of a 12' wide multi-use concrete trail that will eventually complete a 10-mile long East/West trunk fulfilling part of the NCTCOGs Veloweb. The primary alignment for this trail utilizes a high-voltage transmission corridor owned by ONCOR electric delivery. Accessibility: There is 1 designated handicapped-accessible space in the paved parking lot off of Pensive Drive just north of the trail at the west side of the trail at about 0.3 miles into the trail. It is van-accessible with striped access aisles. There is 1 designated handicapped-accessible space in the paved parking lot off of Freda Stern Drive just north of the trail at the east side of the trail at about 7.6 miles into the trail. It is van-accessible with striped access aisles. The parking lots have been marked with waypoints. The trail surface is paved asphalt with a yellow dividing line (cutting the trail width in half), smooth, and typically at least 12 feet wide. The estimated grade is mostly gentle (5% or less).
