Super awesome trail. I will be back again to venture out after completing this trail to include the others around it. I had fun.

Pretty hike but the waterfalls have dried up. Not sure if they’ll be back for the season but the creek bed was completely dry.

Plenty of single track mostly flat with an occasional climb and rocky decents. lots of hidden gems. very nice scenery. there is a section where slaughter creek turns into a mini canyon with at least 30ft walls on each side. trails are rugged enough to get your heart pumping. Best part is you cant get lost. All single tracks eventually cross the main paved loop.

It was great to see the giant Cypress Tree but it was hard to determine which trails we were on and we “accidentally” found it! Mostly easy, well traveled trails; i prefer more primitive trails.

Easy relaxing walk...would be a great place to go fishing if there were not so many families swimming. The waterfalls were non-existing due to lack of rain. Trail was EASY! Trails were not marked so it was hard to tell which trail you were on. Lots of people. And this was on a Monday afternoon walk.

I liked this trail very much. It is a very easy trail, not what i would consider a “primitive” trail, which is my preference. The city did a great job on this trail! I liked it because the entire trail was shaded. I did not like that the trails were not marked very well and just couldn’t tell which trail you were on or was about to get onto.

Excellent urban multiuse with tons of smiles given and taken

This is a wonderful park with many, many trails both large and small. You can find a trail that's right for a beginner as well as those for the more experienced hiker. If it rains the Creek swells close to the entry point but you can always enter by the South entrance and not have to walk through water. The park also includes the soccer field, a baseball field, a play ground, disk golf and restrooms. The restrooms are only by the North parking lot. Many of the trails are truly shaded but there are still some sunny spots. A beautiful Creek runs along one side.

Nice and wide. Does a loop so you return to your starting point.

Nice for a leisurely walk with your pet, decent scenery. Not my favorite of the choices of hiking around Austin, but the falls were nice.

Really pretty, not crowded. Easy hike and well-maintained trail.

Lovely location specially for walking dogs and family relaxing. Beautiful

At the beginning the trail splits up into a crushed gravel walking trail and a natural surface semi rugged trail. Both trails virtually run parallel with each other. A bird watching blind, a few waterfalls and wildlife make this a relaxing hike

This is an ok paved trail for walking, but be prepared to be surrounded by bike riders.

I like this one for fun.

it's nice.

Great place to enjoy with your dog. The further you hike the more private swimming ops become.

Another hike on this pretty trail.

I went hiking in the morning elsewhere, then after about 1 and-a-half hours of a "break" (drove to my church, fixed sandwiches to give to hungry people, then drove here), I decided, "I can hike another trail". Needless to say, after hours of hiking in the morning, then tackling this and the River Place trail, I was bushed on Tues.

Great hike! Sweet surprise...

BEAUTIFUL walk! There were wildflowers and cacti and a creek you could swim in. There’d were a lot of side trails, so I had to keep this app open to keep me on the official trail. It should be noted that you have to cross the creek to do this loop.

what an awesome trail, so many changes in scenery, all beautifully groomed

Hiked to lower falls and the mill.

I have done this couple of times now. But every time it was in summer. So it is best to start early to avoid doing it when the sun gets hot. A pretty long loop that takes you through different parts of the Austin downtown along the Colorado river. You will never be alone on this trail There were enough joggers and cyclists every time I did this trail.

The falls were not what I expected the trail were ok. would choose another place to hike at if I had the option

Love this walk in the woods.... scenic , creeks & elevation changes... the neighborhood did a great job with this park!
