over grown

I rated it as 4 because there isn’t much around this area. Over grown in place and a ton of flies in parking lot.. Trails are easy to navigate. I did the .9 then the 1.5 and the .9 again. Dog liked it also.

Great place to take my dog for a change of scenery and much closer than Brazos Bend. I've done the trails a few times.

gravel trail was very overgrown. thorn bushes hanging down you have to duck under and in some areas thick grass higher than my knee. paved trail was nice. saw lots of birds.
whole place had a sketchy vibe though.

Love the trails occasionally feel like I'm being tracked ! Curious to know of any cat sightings ? I saw a huge black cat in Liverpool in the eighties and found out a cat had taken down someone's horse in the 90's so they are here !

The trail has not been maintained in quite a while. Briars and branches are beginning to grow and in enclose the trail. The trail is still hike able but watch the briars.

We tried it today for the first time and my kids loved it. Great for trail running and for training.

The gravel trail was a nice break from the concrete I have been walking since Brazos Bend State Park has been closed from the flooding. There are some parts of the trail where runoff has occurred and becomes a bit rough and some parts are overgrown, but a great walk all in. Will definitely return.

We took the Bayou Trail, and it is nice. not perfectly groomed but very easy walking on the gravel. Our dogs are old and not used to the heat so we turned back after less than a mile.

It was AWESOME! It's local, it's clean, the trails are great!! The paved one has inclines and declines with lots of curves and turns that make it fun and easy and the unpaved is still very curvy with the inclines and declines but the loose gravel and the natural changes made by rain and run-off keep you very engaged and make it a little riskier a path. We loved it! Naturally beautiful scenery. This is a little hidden gem in our area! I'm so glad we decided to check it out. We will be using this for bike rides on a regular basis. The Silva's give this park and its trails two thumbs up!

This trail is the best one I've been to in Brazoria County to date. The 0.9 mile trail is completely paved concrete and is super nice. The 1.5 mile trail is gravel and nice as well. No mud or spiders to deal with. There's restrooms and parking available and it does feel like your deep in the woods. The only drawback is there are really no "views" - it's just forest. But there's plenty going on - I even ran across some deer. Great trail and highly recommended.
