The only downfall was a combo of not well marked at sports and not traveled therefore a ton of spider webs.

I tried to do this trail today, but it is not currently in a well maintained state. After the fifth downed tree in under a mile, I decided it wasn’t worth it to try to bushwack my way through (especially since I didn’t have a good tool for that). Seemed like it could have been a good hike along the lake though.

This was a fun hike. The suspension bridges felt sturdy!

awesome day to go to the cave lots of fun to take kids to :)

Loved the bridges! Canopy covered most of way. We hiked in a drizzle and it was wonderful!

We ran this trail in September 2015. It was a 90° day and almost kicked our butts. We decided it was time for revenge. Went back in May 2018. Had a blast. Great single track trail. Fun elevation changes. I'm sure we will go back.
Wear some kind of repellent. 5 ticks, mosquito bites, and poison ivy/oak.

Just a usual day in the woods. ✌

this was a very cool kayaking trip, it took about 3 hours total. the cave was beautiful from the outside but the inside is dark and it takes a minute for your eyes to adjust. we didn't go very far inside but it looked like you could explore further into it if you have a flashlight. beware of the spiders and cave crickets! kayaks, canoes, and other paddlers will fit inside the cave but its probably too small for any boats. we got surprised by a sudden thunderstorm on the way back but took shelter in an empty dock.

Really nice hike. First part is paved and the second part isn't. It has a really nice overlook of the lake. Though the bridges you see in the picture are not on this trail, they are on the trail next to it called Lost Creek Overlook trail. Which was a very nice trail as well.

Great trail. 1.5 miles on paved section then 1.3 miles thru woods. I love the 2 swinging bridges.
Restrooms located at beginning of trail.
Fun hike with your dog.

We enjoyed the hike and the swinging bridges. Loved the view. Perfect with kids and dogs on leash. It was very cold but sunny today.

Not a trail

Nice easy trail, not a lot of great views but the trail does wind down to the lake a few times. 2 suspension bridges - would be fun for older kiddos.

There is no Trail head , no Trail to be found! Seems only access is from canoe or kayak using this Route

Very hot and humid day. No breeze. Very uncomfortable. Not much to look at either except the lake. There are too many good trails to bother with this one again.

Very nice hike with beautiful lake views, suspension bridges and enough up and down ravines for a workout. Missed one sharp turn on the trail and we weren't the only ones. If you miss the turn you will be on pavement. Backtrack a short distance and pick up the trail going right down a ravine. We combined this with the Marble trail for a very nice hike just under 4 miles total.

Easy hiking, fishing was slow, but many trees to set up a hammock and just relax:)

I liked the views of the lake. Wished it didn't get dark on me. Would like a shortcut trail along the way, bc once you commit to the long trail, that's it. Great job marking all the trails with pink ribbon, yellow hiking and orange arrow signs.
Thank you Winchester, Tn.

It's great for a family outing. I enjoyed this trail and seen a doe just off the trail. It's hardtop. It leads to the Ray branch trail. So get out there and enjoy it.
Thank you Winchester, Tn.
