Beautiful views, great sunrise spot. First half of trail pretty rocky and a lot of roots but well cleared and marked. Some wildflowers.

This recording is Unaka Rd up to Mine Flat

Good trail - the last mile up was in direct sun and a decent slope up. If there has been a recent rain, I probably would not want to do parts of the trail, as it seems the trail is also where the water flows. We were surprised to find a parking lot at the top.

It’s a steep hike but great exercise however if u want to take the easy way out just drive to the top for the beautiful views!

Short, but steep hike to two beautiful falls. We went right after it rained so the flow was very full, but the trail and rocks were very slippery. Recommend the use of gloves and trekking pole if you have them.

We found this trail on this app and decided to try it, it was a gorgeous view!! However, we got lost a few times and so did the other people on the trail. After crossing the FIRST creek turn RIGHT and cross ANOTHER creek, it’s an unmarked trail but the view of the water fall is gorgeous!! Tons of places to swim, you come out at the top of the trail and have to climb down to the bottom. Be careful rocks are slick and muddy!!

Beautiful view! Difficult trail run.

This trail is not marked at all what-so-ever. We went the complete wrong way at first. Go through two water crossings and take an immediate RIGHT after you get through the second. We only made it to the second waterfall. This trail got very scary 3/4 of the way down the falls. It was slippery, muddy, rocky, rooty, and had decent size drop off sections to maneuver. We decided not to go to the bottom today. I don't reccomend this for smaller kids. What we saw of it, it was pretty! Wish we could have gone further!

(Started recording about .1 of the way in) Definitely one of my favorite hikes in Tennessee. The views are absolutely fantastic and simply some of the best, and the hike is awesome. It's just beautiful. Though keep in mind, the trail is narrow at some parts, doesn't have a lot of shade, and has plenty of rocks and roots for you to trip over. However, I probably wouldn't rank this hike as Moderate. It has a lot of elevation gain all throughout the hike and simply not a lot of flat places. I'd say it's a little more of a difficult hike though completely worth it.

Great challenging trail. Waaaay too crowded though. Drive a few miles further to avoid the hordes

It was a beautiful day for a hike - it had snowed the past couple days so we got to see some beautiful scenery on our way up. The view at the top is gorgeous! You can see multiple mountain ridges. The climb up can be intense in some sections, it is uphill 98% of the time so give yourself plenty of time for the hike. Quite a bit of blowdown and downed trees, but it wasn’t bad! There are a lot of thorny vines on the way, so watch out that you don’t run into one.

Absolutely fantastic hike! Got some snow and plenty of whipping wind at the top, great views and plenty of great stuff to check out on the trail. Quite a lot of rocks and roots throughout the hike so be sure to wear boots and keep your feet up.

Beautiful hike with a lot of uphill in the first half. Limited parking. View of the mountains for miles at the top. Highly recommend!

A beautiful trail, mostly in good condition aside from a few blowdowns. Steady climb all the way up. I imagine this trail to be pretty overgrown in a few sections (especially towards the top) in the late spring, summer, and early fall. Overlook at the top provides gorgeous views of TN and NC.

I went with a friend of mine who has been on this trail many times. It’s hard to find (in my opinion) because it’s not really marked. The trail is rated as moderate, but it’s pretty steep and slippery. You have to climb down and over rocks. I wouldn’t go if it’s been raining or snowing. It’s an awesome little hike with amazing waterfalls! We saw four total.

Holy hell this sucked. Rolles both my ankles at least once, and wacked my head off a log. 10/10 would do again

Excellent view for a 2-3 hour total hike. Uphill to the bald but well worth the effort

How many miles is it from Indian grave gap to cherry gap shelter. It’s north from the parking lot. Do they have a water source there Any info would be awesome send me a text if anyone can. 7045269121

Warning! There is a Yellowjacket nest directly on the trail about halfway down the large waterfall. You can avoid it by climbing up/down the rocks along the fall.

This hike was nothing short of awesome!! It's not for the weak of mind. It is very steep. There are some big steps, and 4-5 foot climbs to be made. No offense... Its not a hike for dogs, or children. All is good till you get to the top of the main falls... it's just straight down from there. In my recording, I tried to take photos of the trail so you have an idea what to expect. I wouldn't say its a hard hike. Very short and steep. Water is down right now. You can walk through the creek almost anywhere. If you got an hour to kill, go for it. I spent 2.5 hours just taking pictures. Its a beautiful place. It is to be respected. Its steep and the rocks are slick. GPS was spot on for the trail. It'd be really cool if Alltrails could put a tab in for Photography. This is an awesome creek to photograph... once you get to the bottom...

We thought This trail was quite a bit more difficult than how it was described here. We ended up turning back after we were about half way down the side of the waterfall never we weren’t sure how much steeper it was going to get and it was getting difficult for us and the kids. We also ended up off trail and ran into a very large black snake by the river.
