Loved this trail! Just the right length for a family hike. Not crowded at all and beautiful scenery. Not to steep but just enough to give you a good workout. I’ll definitely be back! Take note there are no restrooms so take care of business in town. Trails clearly marked and lots of markings and signs.

One of my favorite medium length hikes. Has a fun, steep, lord of the rings style staircase down to the base of the falls. Easy for kids 8+. This is the trail labeled with the white markers. Highly suggest the full loop as you can stand at the top of the falls as well!

Great trail not to difficult

It was a very easy hike. A few families and dogs at the base of the falls. We hiked a few trails in the park. Very clean other than the women smoking, it was very enjoyable!

Trail well marked and beautiful waterfall. There is a very steep, rocky climb (depending on which way you start) but worth the view of the waterfall. Next time I would start on the left side of the trail in order to climb down the hill.

Trail was quite easy, was expecting a dramatic climb down to the waterfall based on other comments but it was quite easy. My 3 year old was quite capable of independently hiking the “climb”. The waterfall was amazing. Absolutely beautiful. Definitely worth the trip.

This was an excellent trail. Be careful going down Machine Falls Loop, it can be slippery, and some of the steps are loose. It’s a very busy trail, but don’t let that keep you from seeing it’s beautiful surroundings! AllTrails rates this as easy, but it is more of a moderate hike.

The trail can get steep, but it's worth it. Wear good walking shoes.

Nice short walk watch out for poison ivy/oak I am highly allergic so if I come within 5ft of the stuff I get it but it is there.

Trail is very well maintained and the falls worth the hike. We took our 10 month old with us and he enjoyed playing in the water and looking at the falls. Highly recommended!

Very nice trail with lots of beautiful waterfalls. I would differently do this again! Adams Fall Trail was a Awesome if you like up hills . Great Hike!

Nice swimming hole and easy to get too! Beautiful!

Great trail and beautiful waterfall. Took my 4 year old and he loved the waterfall

This hike was PERFECT. Just steep enough to be challenging, just the right length, well-marked, and those FALLS! GORGEOUS! We were the only ones at the falls when we got there (about 10:30 a.m.) My son (12) said this was his new favorite spot on earth. Highly recommend! (No bathrooms or water fountains, FYI - prepare ahead of time!)

This is a great trail that I would gladly explore again! We took the Busby trail to the falls and then the shortcut trail back out (quite the uphill). The creek at Busby with the bridge is beautiful and I am sooo glad we didn’t skip that. Machine falls was awesome too and luckily we went about sunset so only one other family was there (however they were smoking when we arrived and were nice enough to quit when we came up). We would probably take the wildflower trail next time as well but started late in the day.

Awesome waterfall! Hiked towards Adam's fall, but the creek was low. Machine falls got very crowded so we checked out. Nearly 30 people around 11.

We hiked this trail in March and had a great time!! We were looking for a good trail to do on our way to Nashville and found this one. It didn’t seem like much at first and then opened up to a beautiful waterfall. We accidentally took a “shortcut” up the side instead of the path on the way up but once we got to the top it was incredible. We only saw one or two others on the trail. It was a little slick, both of us slipped on the stairs once or twice, but I’d definitely do it again!

There is a shortcut to the falls but far more worth it to hike around the topside and then work your way back down. The falls are absolutely beautiful! Especially early morning before people start arriving. The entire trail is easy to navigate and worth the trip. If you take children be careful on the topside as there are very high bluffs and some crevasses to be aware of.

Beautiful trail! Hiked it today with the family.(17 down to 10) Trail(s) are marked and clean. Waterfall was so worth the muggy weather today! Absolutely breathtaking. You can climb up a bit more on the rocks ( wet, and slippery, not small kid friendly the higher you go on rocks against the falls) but can easily stand infront of the falls with whole family :) Wear shoes that can get wet or bring a change! Peaceful and truly out in nature! Very shady , gets cooler the closer you get to water, but still bugs . Watch your step near the water/wet rocks and you are good to go!
