Trail was clearly marked. Pretty easy. I did it with my 4 year old and we had a blast. It was the perfect length for us

It was peaceful.

The park is close to home plenty of parking, dog friendly. It loops around depending on the route you choose and it's by water The trails are clean

I hiked this on April 21st. I have hiked many different trails in the GSM NP but this one has the highest variety of plant life of any trail I've been on so far. Trillium were blooming that were as big as dinner plates. There aren't many views and only one major stream so it's a quiet hike for a lot of the time. I started about 0930 and only saw five or six people. There is a section of the trail that is just beautiful. After several miles of slow and steady, not tough, uphill trail, the trail levels out for about a quarter mile. It curves gently around with rhododendron along the uphill side and a nice forest on the downhill slope that doesn't have much undergrowth. It's just a very nice break from the uphill for a while. Albright Grove is a nice one mile loop. There are huge old growth trees on this loop. There aren't many and it seems like many are dying. But they are very big.

Great trail; very well maintained; Loved it!!!! BEAUTIFUL!!!!

lots of trees down

easy hike lots of photo opportunities
