Great trail - some of the best views in TN.

Nice trail! Not too hard, good length, and an abundance of nature!

It's beautiful but it really difficult to steep go downhill and claim up to the hill, make sure wear the gloves since have to hold the cable wire railing and some the wire splitter will cut the hand or finger

Super steep but worth it if you feel comfortable

Fantastic hike featuring two major waterfalls: Cane Creek Falls and Fall Creek Falls. Also several gorge overlooks. Hardest part is the Base of the Falls Trail, which is steep and/or rocky for most of its distance. Start at the Nature Center for an extra Cane Creek Falls view and an extra adventure: walking over a high, swaying suspension bridge. Overall, best hike at the best park in central TN.

Nice trail - a bit strenuous/slow if you have little kids with you; but we made it all the way in and out with kids aged 3, 5, 6 and 8. They enjoyed it :)

Great, short, steep trail down to a couple of great waterfalls, with very little foot traffic. Water was refreshing and the river otters were very playful!

My friends and I enjoyed the hike, but the waterfalls are a little lackluster if it hasn’t rained for a while. The best part was the excursion to the bottom of the gorge - definitely the most strenuous mile (round trip), but so worth it!

An awesome trail! Put my 2 yo in the Tula, 5 year old walked. Was a little bit too much for 5 year old. As we got closer to the end on the way back, she got whiney from being tired. Tons of places to stop and rest. One of my fav hikes ever!

Definitely worth the 2.5 hour drive

Had no idea how exciting this trail was to bottom of falls. At 65, my legs are feeling it today, but I’d do it again tomorrow! Low water volume, but still pretty. Climbing over rocks was so much fun. Never felt stuck or scared. Enjoy!!

Easy trail. Suspension bridge is located here. If you go down and around after the bridge, cross the water again, and go through the woods a bit, you can get to the top of the falls.

The waterfalls are so awesome. Worth the drive out to see them!

Take this trail clockwise. After it descends nearly to the valley, you will find a spur trail to the right that takes you to Medley arch. If you continue to the right (off trail), you can work around to the back side, or continue further to the right to find a waterfall. There is a collapsed section of the former cave structure and an underground body of water. This alone is worth the hike.

When I went in July, the valley section was overgrown, making the trail difficult to follow. Once you get back to the hillside, before you make the climb up an old road, you will find a waterfall tucked into the hillside on your left.

Short trail. Moderate to difficult. Take time to explore.

Went on this trail today! Worth the hike! First part of the trail is easy then their is about a 50 foot section that is a little rough. I had both of my labs with me and had to bring them down one by one but all in all. Really fun trail and beautiful view at the bottom. I would recommend good shoes with grip.

Sparsely traveled. lots of ticks. Hot when we crossed the meadow near the end. Easy terrain. Kind of anti climactic compared to all the waterfall trails.

The trail was ROUGH, but totally worth the effort. Took three dogs, they struggled in certain areas, but had a blast. If you’ve been to Cummins the trail is harder, I thought this trail was closer to strenuous than moderate because it’s really rocky.

gorgeous view and fun water hole to play in

I did this trail this past weekend. I stopped by the visitor center and asked about this trail. The lady at the desk was very nice and told me this would be difficult and the trail would be a little slick from the rain. I grabbed my pack with my pup loaded up and we headed out. The first look down was a little daunting. I love hiking yet I’m scared of heights. Go figure! The first 10 fret descent was easy enough. There was a section that you are not able to reach the cable and it’s almost a straight 5 foot cliff face. This part is a little tricky, especially with a dog strapped to your back. We made it down pretty easy after that. The view was worth it. Absolutely amazing. The hike back up was easy to get up til the one troublesome spot earlier. This is a steep climb so your heart will race.

Love this park! So many great hikes and beautiful views! There are tons of other activities for everyone in the family to enjoy like a ropes course, golf, horseback riding, tennis courts, and kayaking.

This is one of my favorite state parks in Tennessee, and the waterfalls rarely disappoint. I highly recommend

Truly magical ... these falls are not only breathtaking but also fun to swim in for the whole family

Def. not for beginners or those not in good health. Also I am 5"5 and halfway down for a good portion of the cable trail I had to go without being able to hold onto the cable because it was up too high so keep that in mind for anyone 5"5 or shorter when doing cable trail. It was also very hard to find the trail head and the GPS directions kept taking you to another trail head when cable trail is on another road farther down from where the directions tell you it is. Despite those difficulties the hike was well worth it with the view and was a great place to swim.( make sure to bring a life jacket as it gets very deep towards the falls). Also watch for snakes in between and under the rocks. I saw two snakes in the rocks today.

It's rather boring to me but if you want an easy, no stress stroll around the lake this trail is perfect. You can bring a picnic and watch the sunset.

Very steep trail that requires use of a cable to navigate. The swimming hole at the bottom is worth the effort but you should be experienced at rock/mountain climbing. Do not bring children or pets!

My favorite hike at this park! Easy to Moderate with some rock cliffs to get past, but most anyone and children can complete it. Wear shoes in the water at the base of the falls, sharp rocks are present.
