gorgeous view and fun water hole to play in

This was a great little hike!!

Diverse well marked and worn Plateau trail.

Incredible views

Lots to see in just a short walk.

Love this park! So many great hikes and beautiful views! There are tons of other activities for everyone in the family to enjoy like a ropes course, golf, horseback riding, tennis courts, and kayaking.

This is one of my favorite state parks in Tennessee, and the waterfalls rarely disappoint. I highly recommend

Truly magical ... these falls are not only breathtaking but also fun to swim in for the whole family

It's rather boring to me but if you want an easy, no stress stroll around the lake this trail is perfect. You can bring a picnic and watch the sunset.

My favorite hike at this park! Easy to Moderate with some rock cliffs to get past, but most anyone and children can complete it. Wear shoes in the water at the base of the falls, sharp rocks are present.

Awesome hike, well worth the effort. Lots of steps and a decent climb out. The water level was low but we could still swim in the plunge pool at the base of the falls.

I started my hike in the morning so I could enjoy some time swimming at the base of the waterfall (bring water shoes! Some rocks can be unforgiving). The trails are very well maintained and relatively easy. I was able to run up and down parts of the trail without any issues.

Did the Falls Creek Falls trail with my wife & kids (ages 7 & 5) without any problems. It's a great trail although it is a little rocky as you get up closer to the falls. The only disappointment for us was that there was not very much water in the falls themselves due to the lack of rain in the area. Other than that it was Awsome!

Great little hikel! The trail is rocky and could be tough if it were wet. The suspension bridge is awsome! My kids loved it!

Excellent. Went at 9:30 AM and saw only a couple people. Very easy as long as you have good boots for the boulders near the base. Impossible to get lost. Nice swimming hole. Falls were not heavy so no spray.

Absolutely stunning. Every inch of trail is beautiful.

Great for small children. Very short hike for amazing views

It was one of the best trails i have visited, the place was wonderful and the waterfalls were so beautiful to watch.

Going down is one of the easiest trails I’ve ever hiked, coming out is one of the most difficult. Nice swimming area and hand rails most of the way down.
Completion Time- 23 minutes

Gorgeous waterfall! I took my 86 year old mom to see!! It’s right by the parking lot!!

Great view at the end of the trail. It is steep, wear good, sturdy shoes. We took our 40lb dog and she had no trouble going over the rocks.

My wife and I loved this place, Cane Creek falls was gorgeous!!

I want to like this trail but it was badly marked. There is no signage for this trail on the road, you have to AllTrails it in your phone. There were huge construction trucks working on the power line which took up the small parking area. I was little skeptical about parking there and leaving my car but I figured hopefully it would be there and not squished when I got back.
It’s a flat trail at first with a creek crossing in the beginning. Because of the lack of markers I guessed at a fork and of course guessed wrong. I ended up going up a steep rocky hillside trying to see if I could find the trail. It was getting late so I retraced my steps and went back down to the fork and back out. I did get to the mouth of the cave which looked extremely intriguing. I’ll definitely go back and try to find the right trail and then go into the cave.

Beautiful trail! Did it in the middle of the week in February and it was actually very trafficked. The falls was very pretty!

I have hiked this trail many times and I love it. The trail is mostly comprised of steps that are cut out of the ground and there are hand rails. I don't like the steps and I always walk beside the steps to avoid constantly stepping down which can cause you to roll your ankles. At about the half way mark, there is a cut out in rock that really cold air passes through. It's a great place to stop for a break especially in the hotter months. Unfortunately, a large rock slide blocks the trail before you can get all the way to the bottom. However, I've seen a lot of elderly people climb the pile. It seems like the rock slide gets bigger each year. I suggest that you wear a good pair of boots. If you don't have boots, you need to have some kind of ankle support like high top tennis shoes or wrap your ankles with sports tape. If hiking in the summer, wear light breathable clothing. During the colder months, wear layers in case you need to take off some of the clothing nearer to the bottom. It can get very hot once you are out of the cover of the trees. Carry enough water for each person. You will need the same amount you'd carry if walking two miles in the heat. Consider the extra stress and heat associated with climbing up the trail. I forgot my inhaler on a hike last May. On my way up, I realized I had not planned for it to be 98 degrees and I didn't have the right amount of water. I had an asthma attack on the way up. Thankfully, we ran into another hiker who had one. I say all of this to make sure you know to BE PREPARED.
BUT, once you're at the bottom, you'll find it is worth your time. The water fall is breathtakingly beautiful. I love standing under it. You can take a dip in the pool below the falls. If you are not unaccustomed to hiking or physical activity, take your time. I would recommend this trail. It's always a lot of fun.

I’ve been hiking here since I was a child. Great day hike and plenty of other activities to do in the park.

Great hike! It is challenging, especially when you hike down to the bottom of the falls because the hike back up is a rough one. I love this state park and it holds so many different waterfalls so I would highly recommend that you try all of the falls out! Also, if you can get a chance to see these falls in the winter, I would highly recommend it!

Great, challenging trail well worth the hike.
