Beautiful trail along a riverside

I'm not the biggest hiker but from my experience there are portions of this trail that are very difficult like half of the trail. There are many areas of the trail that are extremely narrow and grown over and from the bottom at the river and that climb up was a very steep grade, narrow having to use my hands like climbing a ladder for well over 300 ft. need to get someone out there with a chain saw. lots of huge down trees. it was otherwise a fun experience for my dog and I

It was a good hike, but we didn’t do the out and back. We ended up doing a loop with another trail. Beautiful! Done with kids and they did fine.

I will say, I really enjoyed this hike. It’s fairly short so I don’t know if it’s worth driving just for this loop, but there are plenty of other great hikes in the park. It’s definitely worth the fifteen minute extra drive, or extra walk around if you hike to it. It’s simple, but has enough elevation change to make you feel accomplished. Only thing Ill say is make sure you go counter-clockwise if you can, much lower chance of rolling your ankle

great trail! the mountain laurel was blooming everywhere 5-15-18! just watch for snakes this time of year. we didn't see any venemous ones though thankfully.

This is not an easy or kid friendly trail. Lots of slick rocks and steep climb. We took our 4 year old and he made it most of the way but there were def spots that made us nervous. Unkept grass on flat parts that if not mowed soon will be waste high.

Went the complete trail. It was easy, but it was beautiful!

Pretty good Family friendly trail. The hill climb may challenge the youngest hikers (pre-teen) but is not too bad overall. Lots of rapids to view and a couple waterfall areas if recently rained. Great camping.

Easy to moderate hike, that parallels the river for the majority of the hike. Not too much of an incline and plenty of spots to stop and take in the scene of the rushing water. The waterfall isn’t anything major and you could almost pass it up when there hasn’t been a lot of rain but was still a lovely addition to this soothing trek.

Beautiful easy hike... some amazing campsites right along the river...

Good hike for kids.

Nice trail, beautiful and picturesque. There were some decent primitive camp sites. I wish we would have taken our kayaks. There were bathrooms, picnic tables, and charcoal grills in the parking area.

Great hike for new hikers has a few hills to push through but nothing major for those in moderate or better fitness. Nothing to complain about, nothing to brag about.

I think it's more of a moderate trail if you follow it all the way out to the meeting of the rivers.

Great trail that runs right along the river for the majority of the length of hike. Also there are many great campsites along the trail!

This trail is awesome! It has rained a lot the last few days so the river was quickly rushing by right by the trail. We saw a newt and a snake and heard lots of birds chirping. There are many great camping spots along the trail. The waterfall was a nice treat! We brought along our furry friend.

Excellent day hike with your favorite furry friend!! the only part my dog didn't like was the small, but steep staircase at the end. This trail runs next to the water for about 1/2 the trail. seen a couple of harmless baby snakes and a turtle. Sweet trail!

Beautiful views of the river most of the hike. Good assortment of wildflowers in the spring.

Nice trail along the Clear Fork Creek. Camped at one of a few spots along this trail. Some really nice spots I'd like to go back to later and enjoy the water.

Fun times with the fam today at the Burnt Mill Loop!

My family done the Meeting of the Waters Loop. The rock/cliff formations are amazing. Once you get the where the two intersect was really cool...but starting back up was difficult in some places, you really have to watch you footing, because you can really get hurt if you slip. On the way back once you get leveled out is really no scenery unless you see wildlife. Still a good hike.

Arrived late but was able to find campsite and set up before it got dark. Doing the trail clockwise, i found an established site right on the river that was flat and had fire ring. Water level was very low but that didn't stop the beavers from slapping the water all night long:) they knew i was there. Next morning it was an easy hike on around the loop and i arrived back at my car quicker than expected. I only remember one hill climb and it was short and easy. Fun trip!

Beautiful hike

Really a great trail for exploring this area! Great for dogs and terrain is not too difficult so good place to take family. There are several amazing back country Campsites along the trail as well.

Well maintained trail, we have hiked this loop forward and backward with our dogs.

Nice hike along the river. Both ends of the loop at the parking area are trashy. 200ft from the parking area is clean. Mini Honey Creek hike with rock houses and house sized boulders. I would recommend if you hike the BSF.
