Easy hike. Great swimming holes!

had time for about half, fairly easy up hill, ran water off the trail pretty well considering the rain at the time. convenient to do along with other activities.

This is a hidden gem - magnificent waterfall and a pristine crystal clear mountain top lake with a sand bottom beach

Beautiful waterfall. $3 fee per car for parking. It’s 1.5 mi out to the waterfall, and then 1.5 mi back. There are multiple other trails if you want to continue exploring. Most of the trail is sand, but there are some muddy parts and a large stone staircase at the end, so tread carefully. Great day hike! Also, make sure to stop off at the scenic overlooks up and down Oswald Rd on your way in/out of the park.

Beautiful falls well worth the easy hike in. Little work hiking back out (steps up from Falls) but was easy enough for someone with little physical ability to do. Can’t mtn bike the steps down into the Falls area but can bike 99% of the rest of the trail. I too packed out some trash. Too much litter. Highly recommended because of the Falls.

Nice falls and easy trail. I was there early so the traffic was all but none. Days of rain made the falls something to see but the trail also had a lot of water because of it.

Easy hike, too many people for my taste. The falls are interesting almost look man made. nice looks to swim in at the bottom. My dog loved it.

Pretty nice little trail. Nothing too spectacular. Most of it is sandy. A good place for families but not a ton of room near the falls. I'd go on a weekday if you can. Lots of trash.... please don't litter!!! And pack out trash you might find. I brought out a couple of water bottles.

This is a short trail, that gets steep, near the top. trekking poles, helped a lot. there are lots of small waterfalls. overall a nice hike. it would have been nice if it was longer.

Went to the Falls today and it was amazing, great access, plenty of room, overall wonderful trail!!

I really enjoyed the hike. this is a great trip to get started on or back into (like myself).

seemed like a great trail, but only got to go a quarter mile in due to hiwassee flooding the trail making it unsafe. Will definitely try again soon.

Easy trail, stairs can be a little tricky but my 8 and 10 year old made it down with a little help. Kids loved the waterfall!

Easy hike (moderate with children in tow). Didn’t make it to the end because of little kids and worrying about crossing the water since it’s been raining and water was a little intense so I will try again next time with adults only. Loved the small area to let the kids down and play in the shallow water. Can’t wait to hike the rest next time!!

Loved this. Wasn't expecting to have to cross through the water but it was worth it.

Definitely wear your chacos/keens/waterproof shoes! I did the rocky ascent up to the second waterfall and it was beyond worth it. Just gorgeous.

Just slightly more than easy but a great hike...as others have said, bring an extra pair of shoes for the ride home. You will get up to your calves wading across the creek twice this time of year.

Easy in, easy out. Definitely one of the easier hikes near Chattanooga for the reward at the end. You’ll cross the stream twice before you make it to the falls, so be prepared to walk they water in worst case scenario. Round trip can be done in less than two hours for average hiker.

A fun little hike and beautiful waterfall. Be careful walking down the steps lol because I wasn’t. Can be crowded at times.

This is a 6-mile hike, and it is definitely up and down. The trail is great, very little blowdown, and well maintained. The falls are simply beautiful! I did see a tiny brown snake and started looking closer for the rest of the “family,” but they stayed out of sight.

Short but good to be around. Some steep parts and some trees across the path. Gorgeous stream makes the trek going steeply up in places. First tree is barely 40’ from the beginning and looks dangerous but was easy to navigate. Water was really moving and the multiple steps in the stream add a really nice cacophony to the climb. Numerous rhodendren bushes will look super if they bloom. They loom over the trail almost the whole track. Had to park about 80’ west of the trailhead but there is little traffic on TN30. Really nice rock formations and many small falls. There are some super opportunities for little videos here

There are several ways to get to the falls. One could choose a more challenging route and hike up the mountain. There are not many inspiring views, but the hike is pleasant. If you choose to drive up Chilhowee Mountain you will find breath-taking views of the Ocoee and the surrounding mountains. There are terrific logging roads along the way to hike and hunt small game. The trail to the falls is short and very easy. The falls are wonderful. There are stairs down or one could choose to climb either side of the falls up or down. The creek at the bottom is a nice place to chill, dip your feet, and have a snack. Very kid and animal friendly.

Beautiful trail. None of the signs say Rainbow Falls, though. Just stay to the right when the trail forks to go to the falls. There is a larger waterfall past the first one but it's rocky and difficult to get to. Worth it!

I loved this trail the falls is so unique and pretty. I would advise taking water shoes though. when u are almost to the falls u have to cross the creek 3 times... it was winter, we had no water shoes, but went for it anyway. no turning back we were almost there!!
