Great trail with fast paced rhythm! Awesome changes of scenery and great signage. The trail head is a little tricky to find but once your in it’s very well marked.

Great trail. There are wild animals in there; on one hike we saw a cougar. Love to take the dogs there.

Amazing trails. There's something for every skill level and it's all very well-maintained. Christmas Top is a quad destroyer, if you enjoy torture.

Love ESNP - today we did Hawks Ridge and Dogwood- when done together it's a 4 mile loop trail. Highly recommend ESNP to anyone, since there is a trail for everyone! Full trail review + pics coming to our blog soon at www.Wander-Full-Life.com

Have been hiking here several times and really enjoyed it!

Nice fun forest hike in the shade, mostly. Gentle up hill. Boulder point has rocks and no view. Hidden lake on the way back was pretty. Lots of frogs and turtles. I will post a few photos. Would be great in the Fall and also in Spring. Seemed to be a lot of dogwood trees. The open TNT bunkers were fun. Great echo chambers, fun for kids.

Excellent easy walk through forest with dry creek, likely one running after a good rain. Well marked.

Good trail. Mostly used for mountain biking. No technical elements involved but a great hike. If you stay around The outside it is more like 8.2 miles. You have to keep an eye on the map… To make sure you stay on the outside of the trail because if you get into the inside of all of the mountain biking trails it is much longer than 10 miles.

Nice day hike. Not too crazy but not quite for a beginner.

Love this place. Hike here a few times per week! I enjoy the variety of the trails.

Hawks Trail

I these trails are underrated for everyday riding....I've ridden mtn bikes for years all over the US. these trails offer lots of high quality fast single track. no big jumps or extreme technical sections. well maintained and usually not crowded.
lots of parking, restrooms and changing facilities....nothing fancy, but more than adequate.

Very nice!!! Up and down trails

I did Big Red loop and had a great time! A little more elevation but nothing overly difficult. Brought my dog and had a great time!

wonderful well marked trails. i use it for hiking/running but bikers love it too. southern university does a fantastic job of keeping these trails clear of debris.

Clear trails, very well kept!

Dope. Dice and smooth yet still has features. Makes for a great ride!

Absolutely beautiful park and trails!! We loved this park so much we visited twice during our Chattanooga vacation. There are trails for every skill/difficulty level and the trails are well marked and clean, with frequent benches to catch your breath or enjoy the scenery. We were there at the beginning of November and enjoyed the fall colors and peaceful walk through the woods. Wish I lived closer to this wonderful park!

Love the atmosphere of the trail..
Must see to enjoy.

Well maintained trail here next to the local college. I really enjoyed the hike today! Many branches of trails to do.

Great trails, well maintained and labeled

I ran the Black Mtn, TNT and Log Rhythm sections and it was awesome. Well marked and gently rolling , perfect for any level trail runner . So thankful this is part of our beautiful city !

This is a beautifully maintained trail with lots of rolling hills and interesting old army weapons bunkers tucked into hill sides along the way. The Hidden Lake at the bottom was a great little surprise. We walked at a fast pace for a total of 5 miles. They were setting up for a Halloween Spooky run later in the day, which looked like it would be a great family time. Can't wait to go back when we have time and finish the trail.

Best place for trail or road running in Chattanooga area. Also a well kept secret as it is never crowded.
