Would be fun for taking your dog, with a meadow and wide paths. But it’s not really good for much else.

We went after a few days of heavy rain and the path was flooded in many areas (the signs *did* warn us, to be fair). Our kids had a lot of fun slogging through the puddles, and I just wished they were wearing rain boots — it really was a good puddle-jumping venture.

I gave it a low score because it’s barely a trail, since most of it follows paved roads along industrial buildings, with no shade or scenery.

Beautiful place to hike. Especially in the fall. Pretty easy. I feel like there’s a lot of red tape though. Red tape for you photographers. No pets allowed. No picknicking or collecting either.

If you are in the area, it is worth going out to see the variety of ducks that are usually present. There were at least two resident osprey nesting above the pond in 2018. The water is ugly and half the area is shut off because it is an old fly ash pile.

Very well maintained. Woods trail with little undergrowth. Good parking on the south end. Minimal parking on the north end. There is a little side trail toward the North end. Primarily a bike trail.

The trail is actually a gravel road, which is why I only gave it two stars. Definitely an easy walk, though. I’m pretty out of shape but I barely broke a sweat after four miles.

The gate was closed so I called the number on it, and the lady I talked to was very nice and told me the park *was* open — we just had to park at the gate and walk to the trailhead a half mile away. Not a big deal, just FYI.

Very pretty, short hike.

I hiked this 4-9-18. Some yellow trillium had started booming along with some other flowers, and there were several flowers budding.
I would call it a moderate trail, as there are a lot of rocks and some hilly areas. I wouldn’t recommend hiking it after a rain. There is a good bit of mud and the rocks are slippery.

Dog friendly, beautiful easy trails with views and water access. Would like to come back and kayak here.

DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED. Drove 45 minutes to hike here with my dog and there are signs all over saying “NO PETS ALLOWED.”

Disappointing. The wooded part of this hike takes you on trails filled with empty beer cans and other assorted litter. The paved path is nice, and turns into a grassy trail. If you're at the park, it might be worth taking the walk. If you're not, don't go out of your way for this one. There's better options.

beautiful and easy hike to get exercise

First time we went there was a lot of litter. Second time it was much cleaner, but I still don't know if I would go swimming here.

It's okay but the trail head needs to be marked better

It is an okay walk, not really a trail, more like visiting a park. If you venture of to the left of the parking lot, you'll get on a short trail that is pretty.

Very quiet and underutilized. Enjoyed the park and the dogs loved the water!
