Crowded at the top. All uphill going in and downhill coming back. Paved, but pathway is falling apart. Waterfall is neat at the end, but rocks are slippery

nice easy trail to a nice waterfall. worth the effort.

This was a great trail. However, the paved trail was very uneven. This is not a good trail for strollers or wheelchairs. Nonetheless, it is a nice trail with great scenery and a clean waterfall at the end.

Paved trail, however the pavement is in pretty poor condition at times with areas that have washed out, and lots of uneven areas. The hike is uphill the entire way to the falls. Use common sense at the falls, the rocks are slippery and it’s a long way down. This morning the trail was closed the first time we went because someone fell 40 ft down. We saw people in flip flops hiking in this trial, but that’s really a recipe for disaster as the footing on trail can be tricky at times, see above re: pavement condition.

Harder than it seems but the fall is beautiful!

This is a beautiful waterfall, a must see BUT it’s definitely NOT WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY!! We made it but it was dangerous and definitely not safe for a wheelchair, I wouldn’t recommend taking a wheelchair and I’d never do it again!!! NEEDS TO BE REPAVED , if they wanna say wheelchair friendly!!!

It was a great time !!!!!

This trail is absolutely beautiful. We went in late May, and the weather was nice. I would advise to try to go before 9, after that it gets extremely crowded. To add to our hike, we had a close encounter with a small bear but he wasn't interested with us and kept moving. Overall, great moderate hike.

Perfect hike for anyone new to hiking in the mountains. The sights and waterfall are beautiful.

Loved the views!
Easy hike!

Short & easy hike! Falls are pretty!

Definitely recommend this fall if you are in the Sugarlands side of the park.  About 10 minutes from the visitor center is this very popular falls.  It is paved the whole way which is very nice.  It is steep but a really cool fall.  It's better than Abrams Falls as a comparison point.

We had a big group on Memorial Day weekend and it was crowded! Constant flow of people around you, without our holiday timing - it would be really nice for a large group of various skill levels and strollers too. I found the end terrifying with small children and a crowded precipice. Hands on kids, beautiful falls. No opportunity to swim at this one.

A little to easy for my kids. They are 12 and 14.

This was a very nice and easy trail. It is a beautiful area and the falls are really nice. This is a very popular trail for many and the only advise I would recommend is to go early and you may the place all to yourself. Parking is also a problem with only a number of parking spots at the trailhead. More parking is allowed along the road, but it adds to your walking and hiking distance.

This was an easy, beautiful trail! It was pretty crowded, which was a bummer, but it was still worth it! It only took us about an hour and a half total, but we did hang out at the waterfall for about a half hour. I really don't think it would be good for strollers/wheel chairs, but is accessible for children.

First time on a trail

Great spot and every reason why it’s rated so high in the like list. Easy trail to walk!

Gradual incline on the way up, well paved trail but edges falling off in some areas as expected over time. Well marked trail. Falls were moving well without recent rainfall.

Nice views and the falls are great. However, although rated as an easy trail, the majority of it is up hill. I saw several people struggling, not prepared for the constant. climb. Take water and take your time. It took us about 40 minutes to reach the falls

Gorgeous trail! Trail is easy but mostly straight up.

Beautiful and uphill on the way to the falls. Worth the visit.

We hiked this trail lady summer. It is a paved trail & even thow is breaking apart in places was still able to navigate my son in his stroller. A very easy trail that offers several scenic views of the smokies along the way & has a nice waterfall at the end. The last 50m or so has a steep drop directly off the trail to the left. Watch out for the black bears we strolled up on 3 standing in the trail on the way out. It is a highly trafficked trail & is great for any skill level.

Great trail, but was told by a park ranger that it would be doable with a stroller... not true! We made it to the last .5 miles then decided to not keep going with the stroller. My older two (7&5) and I finished out the trail while my husband stayed with our youngest. Great, manageable trail, but there are definitely steep drop offs and the path gets narrow and broken up towards the end.

This trail can be difficult to do during the winter because it gets iced over at higher points. During spring and summer, it's lovely. It's easy for avid hikers, and moderate for people who are not avid hikers/not athletic.

Went this morning before 9am. Not too many people compared to coming down after 10am. Wow, what a difference. Very pretty waterfall and very manageable hike.

Beautiful falls and an easy hike for all ages. Wildlife is abundant and there is always something interesting to look out. The trail is a little broken up for the last .25 miles, so just be careful with where you step.

The steep drop-offs made me nervous, but it was a beautiful hike and the waterfall was an amazing destination.

A beautiful short "walk in the woods" Most of the way out to the falls is a gentle uphill and it is only a little more than a mile out. This path is all paved and the hike is good for all ages. Not a lot of parking so you should probably plan on being there early
