Nice trail. Once you get past the elevation, it's easy. I went after a storm there was trees down. It's nice that the trail is paved. Amazing views!! Becareful around the waterfalls.

Easy and sloping. Busy.

great for the family. my 5 and 7 year old girls did great but this was about as long and strenuous as they could handle, while still enjoying themselves...

A lot of people even on Tuesday but worth it. I hiked this with my 7 and 10 year olds and we had a great time at the falls.

Easy paved trail. Great falls

Good hike for how short it was.

A little crowded. On a paved road. Definitely a good choice if hiking with kids or for folks looking for an accessible trail.

Loved the trail and it definitely has beautiful scenic views. It was very busy for a Monday and sadly it’s not dog friendly! Also I don’t think this is suitable for strollers. The paved path is slightly narrow with the people traffic.

Ample parking. Restrooms at visitor center at trail head. Trail was well marked. Good, short trail with some good mountain views (with the leaves down) and great waterfall that you can hear most of the way there.

It is nice to have a paved trail, and it’s understandable that it would be difficult to maintain given the surroundings. I would echo what others have said about the dangerous drops, which are along the final 20% or so of the trail before you reach the waterfall. Make sure each young kid is being watched by an adult on that section, as it would be very bad to fall off there. Falls are pretty and it’s a nice level of intensity for a family hike.

Super packed until you get past the falls. Though paved, it's not in good enough shape in some spots for strollers. A baby carrier is ideal if you have a baby in tow.

peaceful hike and great views.

Great views. Lots of people though.

First BIG-ish hike in the Smokies for me. Shoe lacing, pole grip-ing, elevation gains and return down grade!!! AND great views to and from the falls.

Lite rain so the crowds on trail were small on the way up, more crowded on the way back. Great learner trail!!

Really pretty and easy! We hiked it even though there was light snow, and made it with no problems. Highly recommend this hike for being able to see waterfall.

Paved path, but not well maintained. Keep kids close as there are some dangerous drop offs. Waterfall was fairly good, but not spectacular. Great scenery towards the top.

Walked the trails in heavy rain but still enjoyable with a good walking surface (concrete path) ascending to the falls. The views of the changing leaves very nice. I had intended part of the AT on the same day but cancelled due to high winds. Continuing this trail a further 2 Miles to the Cove Mountain Trail is worthwhile especially as there is a fire tower for extensive views of the surrounding valleys. I returned back down the same trail for the Tan Gatlinburg Trolley back into town

Pretty views throughout the trail. Well worth the walk.
