Absolutely beautiful! Shaded areas, paved road. Beautiful scenery, all green in the Summer. The smell of earth after the rain is simply wonderful!
Bring water as the heat of the day gets hot and steamy fast.

Fun place to take your dog for swimming since there aren’t a lot of places in Nashville - but be careful - my car got broken into. They won’t let you park in the “secured parking” at the recreation center with a pet so you just have to take your chances. It’s a shame because this is a beautiful place.

I run here about 2-3 times every week, and it's a perfect "loop" (you can make it 6.5 miles) for an evening run after work. Super well marked, and the facilities at the trailhead are a great touch (especially stretching on the porch after a run).

This is one of my very favorite hikes near Nashville! There are a LOT of ticks there right now though. Put on some repellant and make sure your dogs are on tick meds before you go!

Hiking trail only. Easy-moderate

Very nice addition to the Warner Parks. Parking lot and portable potty are right at the trailhead. Not heavily trafficked this afternoon. We enjoyed this quiet hike. There are a number of large old growth trees and remnants of an old log cabin along the way. I would rank this hike as moderate. Thanks Nashville!

Beautiful trail to escape the city. The main path is paved asphalt and good for children and pets, but you can meander off the path into primitive trails through the woods. You won't get lost because on one side is the Cumberland River (some great views can be found) and the woods always come out into East Nashville. It's all about how far you want to venture. Terrific in fall and spring, tons of color.

It was a nice walk through the woods but the end was fairly anti-climatic without any grand view. I’d do it again because it’s so close and lightly trafficked but it’s not overly interesting.

This is a pretty trail with nice meadows and wooded sections and a good view of the lake. You can hear the boats on the lake very loudly though, which I found disruptive.

Drove over here today to ride my bike since Altrails says it's an option, but the last item on the trail head sign clearly states "No Bikes". :(

Good variety of trail. Some incline for challenge. A few bridges. No cool overlook at the end though.

Great for trail running. Easy hike for kids. Watch out for bikers though. We had a lot of rude bikers just fly past us with no warning. Overall great scenery and peaceful.

I wouldn’t really call it hiking. It’s more of a walk through fields, with a lake. Paths aren’t properly marked and there’s very little visibility (lack of elevation). Also, during the summer the paths have grass that’s tall enough to conceal the snakes, which there are. Better off going to Edwin warner

This trail is easy and in some places moderate. It traverses through woods and a few fields. There are some uphills and switch backs. Also it seemed like fewer hikers here compared to other surroundings trails (parking lot small with few cars at the time I went). There were two old dilapidated structures (sheds, barns or possibly dwellings). All in all it was a nice hike.

This is one of the nicest trails I’ve seen in Nashville. It’s paved but there’s plenty of room for running alongside in the grass and there are primitive trails throughout the route that you can venture off into.

Awesome primitive trail and very well marked.

Decided to do this trail to get some miles, but only had time to do it once as the park closes at 7 PM. I wasn't expecting much because of the lack of elevation, but I was very pleasantly surprised. What this trail lacks in difficulty or elevation, it makes up for in scenery. I will definitely be back with a camera and enough time to explore all the side trails. Great place to go to get someone else interested in hiking.

Good spot, came on a rainy day. Good facilities with bathroom at the nature center. You get good elevation in some spots. It's good woods running, but few outlook points. Will absolutely be coming back for more training!

Beautiful, scenic, great parking. I would have to say it’s more moderate than easy though.

Lovely wooded trail but I’d say it is more moderate than easy.

Easy little hike near the city. Exactly as described.

Nice little spot to do some biking around the park or town & city.

Great short walk. Funny name considering this is actually an old quarry. Nonetheless great views of the lake and the Harpeth.

nice hike, not too easy, but not too hard. I went on a Saturday morning and by the time I was done the park was packed.

Perfect long hike outside of town. Next time I will bring lunch and eat at a picnic table at the second trail head/parking lot. Was there on a Saturday and plenty of parking/not crowded. FYI The only toilet I found there was located at the first trailhead when you come off that main road .

the loop was the best part, probably wouldn't do the Ridgeline trail portion again as it was pretty flat and boring towards the end.

New and we'll maintained path.
Lots of free parking.
One outhouse.
Map of the 3 mile trail at the entrance.
Short paved path which turns into dirt, straw and a little bit of mud after you cross under the rail tracks.
There is a bit of up and down so I'd say this was more easy to moderate. A good little hike though.

Nice day hike.

There is not a whole lot to see besides the woods and some cool wildlife but the trail itself was a great little hike with a nice easy elevation that isn’t to steep or challenging. Perfect for a nice walk with a friend or a run in the woods.
