Great challenging trail

Quick three mile loop that provides a decent work-out. Two or three moderate climbs in both directions. A mix of woods and pastures. Nice addition to the Warner Parks system. The single-track does narrow in a few spots (tall grass), so apply bug spray to ward off ticks.

Very nice place to hike trail was very good on directions

Good and changes with season. Please correct your app. No dogs/pets allowed.

Great hike, moderate inclines, be sure to bring water! Stopped towards the end on a secluded bench to have a picnic lunch!

Great path, well marked, shaded, perfect for a trail run!

Awesome hiking trail. Do the whole thing and it’s a great workout!

Lightly traveled path... intermediate level; some rock and root traversing. Mostly shaded, clearly marked and clear. No ticks (so far).

This trail is clean & fairly quiet if you go early in the day. Lots of rocks & roots along the trail so watching your step which makes it moderate instead of easy. A few light uphill climbs. It makes a great hike for a quick hike close to Nashville.

Nice trail, well used though with lots of people. A little more crowded then I prefer. Beautiful views though.

Great trail for paved running with a stroller. The hills with a stroller were a good challenge

More technical than most mid TN trails, lots of rocks. Love it though and have been riding this trail for a long time. This is the first local mountain bike trail that I remember.

Again Yekew is incorrect, hikers, runners, and dogs on a leash are allowed. No horses, no motorized vehicles.

Pedestrians have the right-of-way, cyclists do not.

A great trail if you want an hour hike.

An enjoyable trail run that turned into a hike. I went after office hours on a weekday and saw appx 6 people on trail.

Nice hills for quick but good workout in about an hour. Shady trail. Take the stairs up/down to add a little extra to the workout.

If you enjoy adventurous woodland paths, this is not for you. It was like visiting a farm where they'd used a large mower and had mown paths without any real destination in mind from field to field, then put up an outdoor center, and called those paths, "trails". There are no markers, so you may want to use a map or GPS and bring water on hot days. There is no water around, except the river, which is not accessible or humans or dogs.

Nice trail with exposed tree roots and rocks - very interesting and beautiful. Scenic views of the lake. On the way back to the parking lot we came upon some deer. Recommend!

trail was good, well marked. I was hoping for more lake views along the way only saw the lake like 3 times.. it's mostly forest and it's pretty thick between you and the lake. for being closer to town is a great choice for the limited Nashville area

NO HIKING , NO RUNNING
Mountain Biking only.
You will get hurt if you are hiking and running and will be responsible for accident and damages to bikers property.
Nice rock garden!
Helicopter Landing pad for bad accidents.

Great hike if living in the Nashville area. I enjoy it because it's easily accessible after a day at the office and can get some good incline along with miles without it being too far outside the city. I recommend bringing hiking poles. There are some steep areas and the poles make it nice. I hiked it during dusk and you see all sorts of wildlife at that time.

This trail was awesome. Short and sweet, has cool rock formations and a cool little history behind the lake. This honestly felt like moderate difficulty to me, though. The trails aren’t super well marked but it’s still not that difficult to get around.

This is a great trail. We encountered singles, couples and families - many with dogs on this gorgeous hike. It’s shaded and well marked. Just a great hike (at a steady pace with a couple of brief photo stops it took a family of four with teen boys 1 hour 50 minutes.) Parking is somewhat limited. Only a portolet - no bathroom.

It was a nice change of scenery just outside of Nashville. Lots of trail runners. The terrain is fairly rocky with occasional smooth dirt coverage. Fairly maintained trail with good shade. I found this to be a pretty strenuous hike, took 2.5 hours to complete loop taking a water break every couple miles. 6.2 miles total in and out.
