The back trails are now well marked but the trails were clean and it felt like I had the whole park to myself. Dogs are welcome on the trail as long as they are on a leash.

Good time

I’ve never been disappointed with my time on this trail. It can get busy and parking is difficult @ times. Don’t let it scare you; be patient - it’s worth the wait!

Some parts of the trail were not marked very well and some parts were eroded away.

When I lived in Maryville, I lived on this trail lol My hubby and I would ride it at least 3 times a week! It was great for scenery, wildlife and variety. It goes all thru Maryville and part of Alcoa. My favorite part was seeing all the turtles and fish in the ponds. Great greenway!

I love Ijams and how close it is to Downtown Knoxville. There’s always something to see here! Easy to moderate trails that anyone can enjoy.

Nice walk in the woods and along the lake shore.

Shaded trail, nice water views and overlooks. Tons of wildlife, deer, squirrel, snakes (good kind) and fish on the banks. I really enjoyed this hike. There was some recent storm damage with fallen trees on the trail but no show stopping events. New dry bridge being built through the wettest area. Very nice!

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid 28 years now this is the nicest park there is. Always a ton of wildlife out I’m glad they have the rules they have there it keeps things nice. Parking is difficult if you go on the weekends but besides that no complaints.

Nice trail with exposed tree roots and rocks - very interesting and beautiful. Scenic views of the lake. On the way back to the parking lot we came upon some deer. Recommend!

I did the knob creek trail; one of the longest in the park but so nice. When you get to the ‘loop’ part where the mountain meets the water you can jump in right there... the water feels amazing! In total we hiked 6.6 miles. We asked the ladies inside where to go and they didn’t know much, but on the map it says to park where the horse trailer parking lot is, then hike on the horse connector trail until you come to the “Knob Creek” Trailhead (which is right past the camping grounds) The horse trailer parking lot is about a quarter mile past the main entrance depending on which direction you come from (right near the boat ramp) But while we were walking on the connector trail we went right by the tennis courts which are in the park so there is probably a way to park in the main lot, then just find your way down to the trail.. it would definitely shorten the walk.
Knob creek itself is about 3 miles. But like I said, definitely worth it at the end to take a jump into Cherokee Lake and cool off!

This was a perfect place for a midday hike with my husband and three girls. Not too challenging but you do get a workout. Can swim and play in the creeks. Very scenic and we took some great photos. It was a real highlight of our trip to TN. It was muddy. Also had trouble following trail signs but we did fine.

Great exercise in a hardwood forest terrain. The trails at Radnor are jewels that require continued public support. We love hiking there. Combined South Cove with Garnier today while training for upcoming Utah trip.

This trail has strict rules. No running very little view of the lake the first half. So many people was just very disappointed. The park was nice just limited. Won’t go back

Nice views. Easy walking on the boardwalk to the Wolf River and back. You may see deer, blue heron, turtles, frogs, wildflowers. Majority of the walk is under tree cover, which provides nice shade during the hot summer months. Autumn views when the trees are changing are beautiful as well.

trail was good, well marked. I was hoping for more lake views along the way only saw the lake like 3 times.. it's mostly forest and it's pretty thick between you and the lake. for being closer to town is a great choice for the limited Nashville area

Walked with my dogs. Glad previous reviewer said go left to beaches as there is no sign indicating such. Not sure if this spot is one of the "beaches" but the water is accessible. Too bad folks are inclined to leave their stuff but I guess it's easier than carrying it back and forth.

Not a bad little walk. Better than some of the other greenways in Knoxville, TN.

I've done this one several times and it never gets old. The trail does get steep but the views from the top are wonderful and theres a chance at spotting a bald eagle pair that nest in the valley below. There's always a variety of butterflies dancing atop the ridge in warm months. The stairs to and tower itself is nerve-wracking for many but it's held up well over time. Great day hike.

This trail was awesome. Short and sweet, has cool rock formations and a cool little history behind the lake. This honestly felt like moderate difficulty to me, though. The trails aren’t super well marked but it’s still not that difficult to get around.

This is a great trail. We encountered singles, couples and families - many with dogs on this gorgeous hike. It’s shaded and well marked. Just a great hike (at a steady pace with a couple of brief photo stops it took a family of four with teen boys 1 hour 50 minutes.) Parking is somewhat limited. Only a portolet - no bathroom.

One of my favorites! Generally flat with some roots/rocks but to where you can actually look up and enjoy the run. Great Lake views, shaded trail along water, lots and lots of deer, birds, squirrels. Few hills to get your heart rate up but still easy.

I’m a photographer and have to say that I live 5 minutes away from it and it’s always a new adventure. Being able to capture something new every single time. Will definitely recommend it to all who visit or are becoming homeowners here.

Not a lot of elevation. Really nice around Mile 5 and 6. Spiders. EVERYWHERE. Glad I did it once, but definitely a one and done experience.

Get spot right off the interstate for a quick run. Be sure to include the paved woods trail. That plus the lake portion is almost 3 miles.

Used to walk this trail every day. Very easy with a paved path. Had many animal experiences here.
