Really cool hike to hit after a good rainfall and if there’s not a lot of people around

Nice little hike, trail could use s little maintenance but it’s not too bad. We hiked it at a casual pace in under 3 hours. Nice parking and restroom facilities. Historical information was interesting.

Great for the history related significance. Trail is minor, doable by most, great for kids allowing all to experience a little part of history.

Trail a little hard to follow at times, needs a little maintenance, beautiful scenery. great campgrounds.

I was just amazed at the beauty of the area and the numerous trails and historic sites. I want to go back and spend a week exploring the length of it.

Fun waterfall. If limited ability their is an paved trail to an overlook, otherwise hike to the bottom for the best view.

Beautiful trail. I would recommend continuing along the "unimproved" trail to the base of the falls.

Very enjoyable trail. The portion along the creek was very pretty.

Some parts of the trail were well maintained, especially the Natchez Trail sections, others were not. At least one part along the trail meet up with a bathroom and water fountain which was nice. A good section followed a large Creek with a couple places you could take a break a cool off in.

Short hike, good little adventure!

I have a bad hip but the walk was short and just amazing so beautiful and peaceful cld have stayed all day

Great experience. Lots to see-wildflowers, creeks, varied terrain. Several spots to stop and take in all that surrounds you. At about the half way mark, the trail opens to a picnic area with clean restrooms and then back into the woods.

I am partially handicapped and my hiking is now rather limited, but I was thrilled to be able to walk to the first overlook. With the help of my cane and the stabilized pathway, I was able to see the first waterfall and sit down on a bench and enjoy the sound of the water splashing down the falls. Thank you, National Park Service for giving me access to this waterfall.

Good trail. Much of it is along small creeks. A portion of it is on the Old Natchez Trace.

Beginning at backpacking and used this trail as our very first one to hike. Kids had a blast with it and enjoyed the waterfalls. very easy hike but a good one to help ignite the hiking bug.

Very nice trail especially along swan creek. Well marked and maintained.

Gorgeous. Be careful under the first Falls. You can walk behind but it is very slippery. I've been here several times and it doesn't disappoint. Make sure you continue the moderate to difficult hike to get to the second Falls. Just a beautiful place.

Was a very beautiful short trail. I am partial to waterfalls.

Parts of the trail were very maintained. Then there were parts of the trail you had to wonder if it was still the trail. Lots of trees down and found some poison ivy on part of the trail. But overall I enjoyed the hike. Especially the part of the trail close to the water.

Way too much unavoidable poison ivy allowed to grow all over footpath itself.

I made it a mile before turning back. Trails need some attention big trees down everywhere.

This trail needs some maintenance. Trees, big and small, lying across the path were common. The blazes are almost gone and not a bright color. There needs to be some additional signage at intersections of paths to keep you on your planned hike. There are some slippery spots on steep inclines because of rock. Some areas were overgrown and there is a lot of poison ivy out there. This is a nice challenging trail with lots of incline/decline and small streams. Probably underused and underappreciated because of comments like mine. The park is nice and clean, nicest restrooms on that section of the Trace. Just wish the trail also met that standard.

Beautiful walk among waterfalls. steep at times but the views are worth it!

love it! easy many beautiful falls, worth the drive from Nashville

I couldn't complete the loop because of over growth past the creek. Way too much poison ivy grown over a large portion of the trail. I had to turn around and hike up the road to get back to my car. The areas I did hike was beautiful and would have loved to complete the loop. A few large downed trees forced me off the trail and when I had to circle back a newly fallen tree blocked the trail which wasn't there when I first went through.

drove the full length last summer,3 free camp grounds along the highway.about every mile there is either a short trail to see some amazing historical sites.did this trip solo from Natchez miss. to Nashville in 4 days,3 nights of camping, took my time and enjoyed ever mile.

Short but very pleasant

Great Trail, a bit narrow for 2 dogs at the same time, but quiet and perfect. There were several incline / decline portions along the river - when you take the left and start to decline if you follow the path counterclockwise (go to the right). Otherwise, really decent paths and lots of history.
